Thursday evening was really cozy at the long table with delicious Pakistani food and a nice atmosphere in the gallery with the many exciting and challenging works of art.

A good, exciting and authentic dining experience. You eat at long tables, so you have to be prepared to have a waiter or waitress you don't know. But you do that after dinner 😊

It's amazing that such a place exists in Tversted! Vavas Gård / Vastadis is something very special. I've been there many Thursdays for their communal dinners, where you travel around the world through food – every week a new country, always exciting and tasty, and you'll be filled up so that no one goes home hungry. On the weekend they turn up the details with an a la carte menu that feels like being at a Michelin restaurant – but in a cozy salon with art on the walls and a relaxed atmosphere close to the kitchen so you can follow along. Finally we had ravioli with lobster, chicken with the most amazing chanterelle sauce and a lemon meringue dessert with homemade ice cream… it was all right in the cupboard! Their homemade hams and sausages are also worth a taste – served on the place's vintage service as a tapas plate and perfect for a slightly shorter visit with a glass of wine or organic beer/soda. Everything is organic, and you can really feel the love for the craft and the guests. And then there's the art gallery, which is a whole story in itself. A magical little place that just has to be experienced.

Velsmagende mad. Dog ikke voldsom inspirerende. Sammenhæng mellem mad og pris ok. Vin priserne var i den meget dyre ende. Konceptet rigtig fint. Betjening moderat.
