Simple, tasty, inexpensive! And the waiter was very kind to the children. We loved it!

We are speechless, phocking amazing!

After eating so many dishes. Yes, a lot. Whatever you can think of, I've eaten (PET, if you're watching, I haven't eaten human flesh) But unfortunately, none of it was something I really enjoyed. The taste was there, yes, but the feeling was missing. I was chasing taste, but I couldn't find happiness. Until I stepped into a small shop. A shop called Viet Thai. Since that day, my life has changed. I no longer need happy pills - my happy pills are served steaming hot with fresh cilantro and noodles. Their pho tastes like an angel sent down to earth with one purpose: to boil stock for 12 hours and fill my heart with meaning. Okay, let's be brutally honest: The service is terrible. I mean it. Catastrophic. They look at you like you've just insulted their ancestors by asking for a glass of water. They forget your order, or bring you something completely different with a shrug. They slam the bowl down on the table with a bang that could wake the dead. Smile? It costs extra (and is not on the menu). A receipt? Good luck with that – it’s easier to get an audience with the Pope and Trump But you know what? I AM COMPLETELY HAPPY! Would you complain about a slightly grumpy Saint Peter at the gates of heaven if you knew what awaited you on the other side? No, right? Every bite of that pho is like a hug from the cosmos itself. I would happily accept being scolded in a language I don’t understand and having my chili thrown at me if only I could get my dose of Viet Thai. I would climb over broken glass for that soup (and much more)! I have given up on looking for love. Because how can I tell a future girlfriend that I love her the most – when the truth is that my heart belongs to Viet Thai? That would be lying. If the shop ever closes… I dare not think about it. I would rather lose my hearing. Go blind. Lose my arms and legs. Anything – just not Viet Thai. And you know what? I used to be skeptical about immigration. I feared cultural change. But now? Now I want to import all of Vietnam and half of Thailand (half because otherwise we’ll be too many), so there can be a Viet Thai on every street corner in Denmark. I want pho in Føtex and pad thai in the hot dog stand. When I imagine paradise, I don’t see angels and clouds. I see a place with endless Viet Thai restaurants, where the soup never runs out and the noodles never stick together. You might think I’m kidding. But I’m dead serious. This is not a food review. This is a confession. A declaration of love. My will, in case things go wrong before the next meal. Go out and find your own Viet Thai. But stay away from mine. The line is long enough already. tldr: Viet Thai is a magical place; it's where you find the meaning of life. The service might be better on Mars, but wait, the food is amazing! Even aliens would probably spare us if we just let them taste Viet Thai first. Warning: It's more addictive than meth and heroin combined.

Dreaming of Vietnam but your bank account says no?** No stress! A slip past Viet Thai feels like a direct teleportation to Hanoi - just without the jet lag and visa problems. My day goes from 0 to 100 as soon as I walk in the door. I look the employee deep in the eyes and shout: **"Give me a phooo my broooo!"** – and then the party starts. But all good things come to an end... The worst moment? When the last noodle is gone and the bowl is as empty as my heart. If you want to experience Vietnam on a budget - with taste, atmosphere and solid mood - then Viet Thai is the place for you!

The place is good, but I wouldn’t recommend tourists make the trek out here looking for a cheap meal. If you’re a Dane looking for takeaway, disregard this. But if you are an American desperately looking for a cheap eat in CPH, Vietthai is out of the way, only takes dane pay or cash, small, and it takes a long time to get your food (they prioritize takeaway.) They were nice, the place was cozy, and the pho was okay and the price is great, but nothing to write home about.

Amazing buffet experience. I visited with my vietnamese girlfriend and she said its the best viet restaurant she tried in cph price was not expensive, like a sushi buffet. All the food was freshly made and vegetable were of high quality. A fantastic desert with great variety in starters and main course.

Wow! Really delicious. The best Vietnamese/Thai food in KBH at reasonable prices.

Duck with curry is simply amazing, also cosy atmosphere.

If it was my last day on earth, I would buy food here And yes, the owner likes to scold, but you just order your food to-go
