The food is soooo goood here! Every dish is masterpiece, it’s extremely delicious, especially main dish with king oyster mushrooms. I liked the service is fast and atmosphere is very cozy. I loved the combination of plants and wood in the interior. Juice pairing was super tasty! We were very happy to find vegetarian course. Bravo to chef!

I opted for the tasting menu, and every dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The experience included delicate scallops, cod cooked to perfection, flavorful beef tenderloin, and a perfectly balanced pear dish. A surprise mid-meal course added a delightful touch, making the experience even more memorable. The wine pairing was spot on, with each glass complementing the flavors of the dishes wonderfully. The service was attentive and professional, adding to the overall elegant and refined ambiance of the restaurant. We were going to another restaurant but the wife navigated wrong 🙂 so by chance we ended up at restaurant Vaext. A great trip! Fantastically good food and excellent service. Food in Michelin class at very reasonable prices. Ordered a main course but also got two very good starters. Fried oysters and homemade bread with homemade butter. The main course beef filet with muscle sauce and beetroot. Dessert with apple etc. All this including drink for 1600 kr. Worth every penny. Recommended!

Brilliant experience. Well prepared and sophisticated without being extravagant. For a very fair price, my guest and I had a menu with 3 major servings and 2 snacks with wine menus , starting off w. good bubbles. First time in my life I envied my guest who had the vegetarian menu and corresponding wine menu.. I'll be back soon to test that..

Really nice place. Special but calm atmosphere, with complete interior design. Delicious food that really pampered the senses. Small surprises between servings. Reasonable prices, considering the quality.

We had previously visited Vaekst and we're excited to return during our July 2024 trip. Unfortunately, our experience his time was sub-par. Much of this revolver around service. Our server was absent-minded and seemingly clueless. Shortly after our arrival she dumped an entree over the customer next to us. We then waited 20+ minutes to be acknowledged after sitting, and were then only acknowledged by her colleague, who happened to notice she was ignoring us. She took our order like it was a fast food restaurant ("do you know what you want?") and wines and dishes were served with no refinement, despite the restaurant's reputation and price point. We asked for our check after the meal. Receiving it took another 20 minutes as we watched our server stand at the station next to the kitchen, having a conversation with her colleague, ignoring us and the tables around us. The food was fine. Not remarkable but passable. However, good food can be found all over Copenhagen and this was certainly no more special than many other places in Copenhagen with far superior service.

Netter Empfang, tolles Personal und das Essen war auch sehr gut wenn auch die Portionen recht klein waren. Sicher eines der besseren Lokale in Kopenhagen.
