NICE LOCATION GOOD FOOD OUTDATED ONLINE WINE MENU My wife and I dropped by a Friday afternoon for some wine and food. The weather was good, so outdoor seating was available. After ten minutes we got a table outdoor. Until then we sat inside at the bar. We picked this wine bar over other bars nearby due to their wine list. So quite disappointing that many of the wines were sold out. They have a happy hour where you get a glass of red og white wine for 40 DKK which is quite nice. The food is good and well arranged. The service is nice but the music inside is… strange… But overall a nice visit.

Just had a glass of wine and wonderful sourdough bread. They understand quality. Nice to sit outside under an awning on a warm but overcast evening with a little rain in the air.

18/03/2026: We ate outside at 3 degrees of our own free will and didn't get cold because there are heating columns and even a radiator mounted on the wall. The pizza made us feel like we were in Italy. You can't pay the tip with a card because then the waiters won't get it... You can give it to them separately in kp.

23/05/2025: Visited in May 2025 during the seafood festival. The food was cooked using fresh and high-quality ingredients, but the flavours were a bit too mild for my taste. My favourite was the fresh tuna and cod dish, which was pleasantly salty and smoky. The main course was also pretty good. The poached oyster dish was my least favourite and could have used some acidity. There were many wine options, but no drinks menu for anything else. We got a beer and an elderflower syrup after talking to the waitress. The interior looks modern and the bathroom is cool. The tables are a bit too close for my taste, but that's the case in many restaurants in Copenhagen. Overall, I had a pleasant enough experience, but I'm not likely to return.
23/05/2025: Svovl is our local restaurant and wine bar. I can't recommend it enough - food, atmosphere and service are all in one. Thanks to Rasmus for creating a wonderful gastronomic and oenological oasis in Århusgade.
