Von Lügenhals Varde

A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service is often very slow.

Had lunch here. My wife raves about the platter (herring, salmon, ham, cheese and cake). The bread and homemade chips in particular were a hit). I made the safe choice, a lunch steak. I would like to highlight the fries, they were really good. A really cute serving. A little nervous, but if there was something she couldn't answer, she went for the answer. Definitely recommended?

Everything was great, highly recommended.

Super experience - the best restaurant in town👍🏻

Try it. Excellent food and sweet staff. The place takes you back hundreds of years in time.

We had our wedding celebration at Varde Garten/Von Lügenhals, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place! The food was absolutely amazing - every dish was beautifully prepared and tasted so good. Combined with the fantastic surroundings and the best service we have ever experienced, the whole evening was simply perfect. If you’re looking for a place to host your next party or celebration, we can highly recommend Varde Garten/Von Lügenhals. Everything was taken care of, nothing was missing and the entire team went above and beyond to make our wedding truly unforgettable. Thank you for an amazing evening and wonderful memories!

Delicious food and smiling and engaged staff.

We were 2 couples. We got different main courses and the same ice cream dessert, as well as beer and wine. Everyone was happy with what they had each had. I myself was excited about my plaice fillet. The chef explained in detail how he had made the special shape of the fish. It was a royal dish. The staff were nice and attentive and were in on a joke. We were in the Varde area for 4 days and ate at Gro, among other places, but no one else could compare to the "løjnhalsen".

Nice surroundings, friendly staff and delicious sandwiches

A completely fantastic party - Everything works Right from the food to the staff. Here you can safely hold your next party / wedding. They have it 100% under control.
