Great filter coffee. The banana bread–moist, full of texture, and intensely rich with chocolate–is to die for. (The story goes that it is their magical oven, never minding that it is “faulty or broken”). This is a hidden gem off Amager Strand and worth the visit especially after a cold or summer dip.

Would have given 6 stars if I could. Denmark's absolute best sourdough bun, cheese and butter. Not a coffee expert, but can say that the coffee is super good!

My personal favourite BMO in the entire city... probably the whole country! Very tastey. Latte was good as well, however a smaller portion than expected The person at the counter also provided great service and was very friendly. If I have a son and he turns out to be just like the counter man, I would be very proud

We were 6 adults, 4 children and a baby on Saturday afternoon. The coffee (cortado, cappuccinos, café latte and chai latte) were very good (no acid) and the children enjoyed the banana bread, croissants and sandwiches. We'll definitely come back.

Have enjoyed a cortado twice at this nice little coffee shop. The same nice young man served me both times, nice service, fast service. The coffee tasted fine. The place is completely newly furnished, including the toilet, which is large and disabled-friendly. They have fast and secure WiFi, free of charge.

29/01/2025: Soy súper parcial - he ido a almorzar a Gitte Kik durante los últimos 40 años y también se lo he presentado a mis hijos - ahora son la 4a generación visitando (y amando) el lugar. El ambiente, la historia y la comida es insuperable y los clásicos sándwiches abiertos daneses (smørrebrød) son excepcionales con un respeto por la tradición (pero también una actualización aquí y allá). Absolutamente excepcional - de nuevo.
25/01/2025: Hyggeligt with delicious traditional danish food that are displayed for selection. This has been one of my families favorite spots for almost 50 years.
