11/11/2024: We were 13 people who came to celebrate my birthday at KöD on a Friday evening, but unfortunately it was not the experience we had hoped for. Already at the starter there was a mess - we were promised tartare, but without any explanation we ended up with beef carpaccio. A small thing perhaps, but it gave a bad first impression. We asked if we could have a drinks menu for two of us who don't drink wine or beer, and the waiter said yes - it would cost DKK 125 per person. person. But after waiting a long time, we were then told that the drinks menu could only be ordered if the whole table chose it. Why wasn't it mentioned from the start? It seemed unprofessional and imprecise. Twice we got wine with turbidity and only the second time it was taken seriously and replaced. Little details like these shouldn't happen at that price. When we had to pay, the bill turned out to be significantly higher than we expected. The price on the website states that the company package costs DKK 760 per person. person, where beer, water and wine are included. However, due to the fact that we visited the place on a Friday, the price was DKK 895 instead. We could have understood this, but this information is either not clear on the website or it is not stated. The clerk then informed that it appeared clearly and distinctly in our order confirmation, which was not the case. All in all, we left feeling that we had paid over DKK 11,000 for mediocre service and a lack of transparency. We were expecting a nice night out, especially at that price.
