28/03/2024: The house used to be our favorite place to go out to eat. We no longer feel like this after new owners have arrived. Unfortunately. The first time we go out to eat there, after the new owners, the bad or "different" experience is because the new owners have now changed the fries to some other kind. In addition, I usually get salad with my food and it's usually different kinds that you get, but never before with the old owners have I experienced that there are onions in it, so there have been some that you could peel from the top in each case. But now it's the same salads and you can clearly feel and taste that it's not freshly cut and self-mixed anymore but just something mixed from a bag or something like that, and then they're filled with small pieces of onion🥲 In addition, we were there again recently to test it out again and this time the salads were the same, even in the burger! A burger with mixed salad with pieces of onion and corn in a burger and no icebeg for example😂 in addition there was also a new thing that was clear, the colas for which you pay expensive judgments were half flat and without enough flavor, as a cola should otherwise be . After some time we find out it's made on a soda stream!😂 again to save money - if you use a soda stream you have to be able to figure out how to dose the right amount of soda and flavor, and they clearly couldn't do that. Also ordered water for the meal, where with the old owners you used to be able to order a jug of water, and you didn't pay for it when you were in to eat a main meal and had ordered soda / other drinks. They say that they don't make jugs of water and you can only get it in glasses now - say yes thanks anyway - but I didn't expect that they had included NOK 25 per small glass of tap water in the total price when before you could get a jug with two glasses with the food without extra calculation - it's still violent. It's so clear the new owners are thinking way too much about profit and it's ruining the quality - and the quality used to be GREAT! I really miss the old owners and probably don't expect to come back after giving it two chances with the new owners... they run the restaurant according to some principles and business model I don't want to support. Really miss when Birthe and her husband ran the restaurant Huset. We have been coming there for many years, with both families for birthdays and small parties.

05/11/2023: Fish fried to perfection, good ingredients and good service, highly recommended.

28/10/2023: Were there in October, almost the end of the season. Simple, small menu, but super fresh, delicious fish and a view of the water and harbor. The atmosphere was very simple but that didn't bother us at all. For us it's part of our holiday on Samsø, simply genuine and delicious.

16/12/2023: The new concept does not suit this type of restaurant and the price is no longer related to the overall experience you get. We have been happy to visit the restaurant in the past, but the food does not quite live up to the previous quality.

27/03/2024: After waiting for our food for 1 hour, and after a larger company that arrived after us, we were served a cold pulled pork burger with soft salad and way too much mayonnaise and soft fries. Jensen's Bøfhus for the last time.

21/03/2024: Extremely disappointing, way too expensive, bad chewy old bread, a small not tasty piece of meat and way too oily potatoes. Boringly arranged with only a little green seasoning over the potatoes. The tap water tasted good, but also far too expensive. Too few staff to solve the tasks, which is why we had to wait a long time for the food. One star for the tap water.

10/03/2024: The prices are getting to a high level on Jensens, but the quality is not high enough for that price. I do like the place and the menu card is well organised. I chose a beef and for the price there is just too little food. If I were to buy a the side orders, salat etc the price is quickly moving to the 400-500 price range without drinks. That is too much for the quality offered. The service is okay, but they are not so attentive to the tables, so it is easiest to get up and find them to order more potatoes.
