22/12/2024: Now I know why I have stopped eating at Jensens Bøfhus. I am reminded of it as soon as the plate lands in front of me and I think: therefore - nothing has changed. One of Silkeborg's best locations and such a bad dining experience. I landed around lunch and ordered shrimp. Glosses have not been spared, under "Smørrebrød's recipes" it says "our interpretation of the classics". What I get on my plate is a bowl of soggy prawns, tired salad and even more tired dill on top. Rye bread can't get much more ordinary. The mayonnaise had been turned into a small bucket of red dressing. Did it taste good? As expected. Did I mention it to the waiter? No, because I think a bit: it's part of the concept - take it or leave it and come.
