12/09/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience. Must be the best restaurant experience I've ever had. Been there before - but it's gone up a level or two.
Get a table booked before they get 3 stars and it probably gets even more expensive :)
Highly recommended.
I also had the most delicious juice menu.

22/02/2025: Relaxing, quiet, and cozy.....Appetizer - very creative, giving taste buds something to look forward to. And the main dish - wow, waking all the senses, mouth watering, both filling yet light on the stomach. The house red wine complimented the dinner superbly. Friendly, informative, and prompt service with a smile. Reasonably priced. Every good reason to visit again. See you!
16/02/2025: Jeg havde fornøjelsen af at nyde en søndagsmiddag på Kollerup Mølle Kro, og det var en virkelig dejlig oplevelse! Allerede ved ankomsten blev vi mødt af den hyggelige og charmerende atmosfære på kroen. Det er en helt speciel stemning her, med den historiske bygning og den varme indretning, der får en til at føle sig velkommen med det samme.
Vi valgte den 3-retters menu, og maden var virkelig lækker. Hver ret var både smukt anrettet og smagte vidunderligt. Jeg kunne især godt lide forretten, som var frisk og velsmagende, og hovedretten – en saftig steg med perfekt tilbehør – var lige hvad man håbede på. Desserten var en skøn afslutning på måltidet, let og sød uden at være for tung.
Betjeningen var også upåklagelig. Personalet var opmærksomme, venlige og gjorde alt for at sikre, at vi havde en god oplevelse. Det føltes næsten som at spise hjemme hos nogen, der virkelig tager sig tid til at forkæle gæsterne.
Alt i alt var det en fantastisk middag, og jeg kan klart anbefale Kollerup Mølle Kro til en hyggelig og lækker søndagsmiddag. Jeg ser frem til at komme tilbage og opleve det igen!

16/06/2025: Nydelig mat! Veldig god carpaccio til forrett og en stor porsjon med perfekt tilberedt oksekjøtt til hovedrett. Crispy chips og en luftig bernaise som gjorde dette til en svært god opplevelse. Vi fikk også en god start med bobler og dansk flagg på bordet! Hyggelige priser og store porsjoner med mat.
14/06/2025: Maden var god, servicen og stemningen i top, priserne rimelige. Men akustikken var elendig og gjorde det svært at høre, hvad sidemanden sagde. Jeg kunne godt finde på at booke her igen, men så ville det være på en af de roligere dage… måske i dagstid.

07/08/2025: - A disastrous experience!
I had the absolute worst experience at Restaurant Dauphine ever! Rolf, the owner, was extremely rude and inattentive. I ordered a dish that I had been looking forward to for hours, but when the food arrived, it was cold and tasteless. I asked Rolf if I could have something else, and he replied with a shrug and a sour expression.
The food was not only bad, but also presented in a way that looked like it had been thrown on the plate. I felt completely ignored by Rolf, who apparently had better things to do than serve the guests.
I asked to speak to the manager, and after a long wait, someone came who didn't even apologize for the poor service. I didn't even get a discount or a free dessert, even though I told him about my bad experience.
I will never ever set foot there again and will warn my friends and family about the poor service and food. Rolf really needs to work on his service and customer orientation!
*Update:* I have not received any response from the restaurant or Rolf, even though I have contacted them several times. It just shows how little they care about their customers.
09/06/2025: A really good social dining experience in an intimate restaurant. The chef and waiter were really service-minded, and the menu was adapted to gluten allergies.

06/10/2025: I was at a wedding here. The rooms were nice and the bed was good. The toilets in the basement had poor ventilation, so there were leftovers in several of them...not so delicious! The food was honestly disappointing. The meat was tough, the dinner consisted of a bun with coleslaw and pulled pork without any garnish or vegetables. The staff repeatedly had no idea who should have allergy-friendly food and the allergy-friendly food consisted of gluten-free bread, which the guest could buy themselves at Rema. The castle could have gluten-free homemade pastries in the freezer and the gluten-free dessert consisted of apple porridge and a sikkerkade. It seemed as if they had forgotten to shop and had just used what they now had of leftovers.
I would not recommend the place because of the food.
04/10/2025: An extremely unpleasant experience.
During a party, a waiter dropped a saucer on my leather jacket, she acknowledged the mistake and asked me to send the jacket to the place.
After that, an email correspondence began where the tone quickly became both condescending and arrogant.
Among other things, they claimed that the jacket was old and dirty (it is 1 year old and this is the 3rd time I have worn it!)
Then they insisted that I had to pick it up myself, instead of taking responsibility and providing a proper solution.
The way the management has handled the matter has been unacceptable. The entire process has been characterized by an unpleasant and disrespectful approach, which has left me both disappointed and angry.
I can in no way recommend staying, eating or hosting parties at Sofiendal, the treatment I have received deserves the worst reviews that can be given!

Valsen Brasserie & Cafe

11/12/2023: We were going to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was store-bought food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service from what I assume is the owner was apathetic. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the impression that we were a nuisance by coming. We certainly won't bother organizing anything there again. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be a little "afraid" of her. At one point she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. That's not a particularly good signal to send to your guests.
09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called the café to see if we could use our smartbox at their place. Our smartbox was for brunch for 2 people. We were told by an employee on the phone that it was valid for both people and that we could just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we had eaten and were going over to "pay", they suddenly wanted us to pay 189 kr for the food. My boyfriend and I said that we had called and were told that the smartbox was valid for both of us. So we did not want to pay. After some time of discussing with the employees, we were allowed to leave without paying anything else.
It's a shame that it will ruin our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that café.

08/04/2025: Udmærket sted , 2 overnatninger i , efter min mening , lidt for bløde senge . men sådan er vi forskellige . Håndsæben i badet duftede af katteurin . Morgenmaden var en special oplevelse , med servering ved bordet . Men virkelig udsøgt , med en rar og flink tjener.
06/04/2025: En fantastisk gourmet oplevelse langt ude på landet. Men maden er fantastisk og servicen er bestemt også i orden. De har et stort vinkort og går meget op i, at vinen passer til maden. Maden var udsøgt og der var gjort meget ud af hver enkelt ret. Vi giver jer de varmeste anbefalinger og kommer helt sikkert igen.
