24/07/2026: A very interesting location with very good food and very friendly service
06/07/2026: I remember Pingvin as a really good place to eat from when it was in the city center. Unfortunately, it seems that the place has lost some of its charm after moving to Stjernepladsen.
The food was quite good, but the next day I had difficulty remembering the menu or any special taste experiences. It simply did not make a noticeable impression.
Unfortunately, the decor also detracted from the experience. Both the chairs, tables and the general atmosphere reminded me of an older, slightly run-down pizzeria in the province. I can't remember exactly what the decor was like in the old premises, but my friend and I both immediately noticed the lack of quality in the furnishings and the somewhat sad decor.
Our waiter naturally asked if we wanted coffee or dessert after the meal. But after almost two hours on the chairs, my lower back was so sore that I didn't want to sit a minute longer than necessary - not even if the coffee had been free.
Overall, the visit was okay, but the experience unfortunately did not live up to the positive memories I had from Pingvin's previous location.
3 tiny stars will do, but 2 stars wouldn't be quite right either.

23/07/2026: I was going to celebrate my birthday for 11 people at the restaurant and had coordinated with the place in advance and made a reservation.
When I arrived I saw that 2 tables were set, so the party was divided into two units and could not talk to each other. I think it was a disappointing experience when I had just wanted to gather my guests - and at the same time the restaurant had not informed me about this in advance.
The waiters were not very accommodating and said that I had to write to them afterwards if I was dissatisfied. I have since done so, but never received a response again.
13/06/2026: The staff provided impeccable service; I sat in a well-lit restaurant with a sea view and enjoyed my delicious food.

17/06/2026: We have never had anything so bad in our 43 years of going out to celebrate our anniversary. Everything we got was mostly cold, including the meat, which had been overcooked to the point of being completely dry, some of it was completely inedible, it was so tough. The tartlet filling was almost refrigerator cold. We have also never tried to get served end pieces when we have been out to eat. The employee who was supposed to cut the meat didn't even know the difference between the meats. The waitress who was supposed to take the payment was kind enough to ask if everything was satisfactory. When we replied that it definitely wasn't, no comment was made. That is not right. We were only told the amount we had to pay. It has been the shortest visit to a restaurant we have ever had. We had expected that we could have a few pleasant hours with good food, but alas no. There will be no recommendations from here. One star is actually too much.
16/06/2026: The two gentlemen in the party would have liked to have a dark beer, but many of the beers were sold out.
