09/09/2026: I recently went to Kebabistan and ordered a durum, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. There was very little meat in relation to the amount of salad, and it seemed as if there had been significant savings on the filling. In addition, the pickled chili/peppers that I normally expect in a durum were missing.
Overall, I don't think the quality was up to par with the price, and I hope Kebabistan will focus on a better balance between meat and salad, as well as on the ingredients that normally go with it.
06/09/2026: Had high hopes, but the shawarma lacked flavour, the dressing had a factory taste, the vegetables was bland and the lamb was really dry and not very flavourful. Compared the Killer kebab this really lacked punch.

27/08/2026: I LOVE THE FOOD. The food here is just absolutely amazing and they are just making pizza and durum and kebab in just a small kitchen they really have a talent if a have to choose between never eating here and never eating ice cream I would choose ice cream
16/08/2026: Very cheap but surprisingly delicious! The portion was a bit small, but the kebab was tasty and satisfying. I was especially amazed by the sambal served in a bowl, it was pretty spicy and went really well with the kebab. And don’t forget to order the red drink… it was sooo refreshing!
And all of this was only around €14. Super worth it for the price! Definitely a great option if you’re looking for an affordable and flavorful kebab in Copenhagen.

Saray Kebab

29/09/2026: We visited Saray Kebab in Aarhus with our family on a Sunday lunchtime and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is functional and rather simply furnished, but overall clean and comfortable.
The menu is clearly laid out and includes pictures, so you can quickly get a good impression of the dishes on offer. The selection includes typical Turkish dishes. We particularly appreciated being able to see the fresh ingredients, including skewers, meat, and various side dishes, in a refrigerated display case right after entering. This allows you to see what's available and what you'll receive before even ordering.
Our portions were very generous, well-presented, and offered excellent value for money. We found the prices to be very reasonable and appropriate for the quality and portion sizes.
The service deserves special mention. The owner served us personally and was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Even as a family with children, we felt very welcome.
The free parking in the courtyard is also a convenient feature. Overall, Saray Kebab comes highly recommended for anyone who appreciates hearty Turkish dishes, moderate prices, and exceptionally friendly service. We will gladly return on our next visit to Aarhus.
28/09/2026: Very good food, tastes just like in Turkey. Clean place and nice staff. Had both dinner and lunch the next day.

24/08/2026: The service was bad. Literally, there was only one waiter, and the girl’s attitude was HORRIBLE. She made you feel like you were begging for something rather than simply ordering! She seriously needs better training on how to deal with customers.
The food was actually delicious and the decor was quite underwhelming, especially considering the prices aren’t cheap.
24/08/2026: Barg and koobideh were fantastic! Absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant was also beautiful and had such a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended! 😍

06/11/2023: OH NO!!! The place is closed, and immediately declared bankrupt? I have been coming here for many many years, a couple of times a month and followed you from Venus in the old days. It makes me sad that you are now closing, after so many years :(
I don't know which Indian place will now be able to fill your place. I hope you open something new one day somewhere else, and I will make it known. so I can follow you to the new place. :) ( I will take the car )
A legendary place in Valby/Frederiksberg is now closed. I wish you all the best in the future, and thank you for the many years of delicious food. :)
12/09/2023: God, I miss this place. I kind of used to go to this place every week during my time in Denmark. People and food are amazing over there. They play desi music.
They have starters, naan, various chicken and lamb and veg curries. They do have biriyani and sweet pulao rice as well.
Make sure to walk in Frederiksberg gardens park to burn out some calaroies after having such a good and heavy meal 😄.
