25/11/2024: Ordered a durum which weighed nothing. Wondered about it and when I opened it there was 80% salad and 20% meat. Very stingy with meat. Bought a durum elsewhere which weighed more and was chock full of meat and the right amount of salad. Never more divan. So stingy with meat. I also had it confirmed by other acquaintances who have experienced the same thing, when I thought maybe it was a one-off thing.

13/11/2024: Boring durum with kebab. Nothing else in it but a lot of iceberg lettuce and two pieces of tomato. Missing something else, eg red onion and something pickled.

19/11/2024: Came to Zafran whilst on a weekend visit to Copenhagen As a Brit who has never had Persian cuisine travelling with a Persian girl she suggested we visit here and we were not disappointed! We ordered 4 mains and 4 sides to share between the two of us and everything on the table was delicious, the lamb was so tender it fell off the bone as soon as the knife touched it and it just melted in your mouth. The veal... Was divine 🤤 everything was great, the food, the service, where we were sat in the restaurant (we had a window seat and it was just nice to watch the world go by as we ate and chatted) When we come back to Copenhagen, we will 100% be coming back to Zafran

09/11/2024: I had the best kebab Bakhtiary here! The meat was so juicy and flavorful, and the portions were huge! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back!"

06/11/2023: OH NO!!! The place is closed, and immediately declared bankrupt? I have been coming here for many many years, a few times a month, following you from Venus in the old days. It makes me sad that you are now closing, after so many years :( I don't know which Indian place will now be able to fill your place. I hope you open something new one day somewhere else, and will draw attention to it. so I can accompany you to the new place. :) (likely to take the car) A legendary place in Valby/Frederiksberg is now closed. We wish you the best of luck in the future, and thank you for the many years of delicious food. :)

12/09/2023: God, I miss this place. I kind of used to go to this place every week during my time in Denmark. People and food are amazing over there. They play desi music. They have starters, naan, various chicken and lamb and veg curries. They do have biriyani and sweet pulao rice as well. Make sure to walk in Frederiksberg gardens park to burn out some calaroies after having such a good and heavy meal 😄.
