18/01/2024: Great bagels with an Abba playlist all in a souvenir shop Price a little high

28/12/2023: The atmosphere is cozy and the twist between a restaurant and a gift shop is cool. The staff is very polite. The bagel itself is rather thin and the whole thing feels more like a sandwich.

13/01/2024: Good food, right up until there was a fly in the hummus! Correction: super sorry! It was The 'Shawama Huset' I was at, not Royal pita bar.

21/11/2023: Really awesome burgers. Also vegetarian selection. The price is reasonable and the cellar speaks English. Only recommended!

30/07/2023: A really bad burger! The bread was dry. No cheese on the cheese and bacon burger but some kind of pale cheese sauce. The meat tasted burnt. But worst of all, the salad on the burger was arugula and spinach.

26/02/2024: Stuffy and not really clean grill or snack bar. The man behind the counter seemed planned and not competent. We still ordered soft serve ice cream. It took him almost 15 minutes to get the machine running. At times we considered just leaving again because he seemed very incompetent and at a loss. He couldn't get the ice machine to work properly. Finally we took the ice cream. We tried it outside and had to spit out the ice cream because of a very bitter and disgusting taste. Since we were really worried about getting food poisoning, we put the ice cream straight in the trash. A pity ...

17/10/2023: Super nice reception by the staff, both smiling and extremely welcome in the restaurant, and we got some nice hearts on the packaging, which could only put a smile on our faces. 🤗 We ordered as shown: Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Butter Tikka, Garlic naan, Egg rice & their Mango lassi And each of the dishes had some fantastic taste experiences to offer. Both in the sweet and spicy corner of the spectrum! We ordered for collection, and therefore did not have the opportunity to choose the size of the dishes, but the "regular" sizes are extremely generous portions. The only thing that didn't live up to my (perhaps too high expectations) was their Garlic naan, which didn't taste very good, and didn't really taste any garlic, unfortunately. Otherwise, everything was simply impeccable, and I will definitely return, and challenge the remaining dishes on the wonderful menu, thank you for the food! 🥘🍽 - PS. their Mango Lassi in itself is worth a visit alone, it was just so creamy and refreshing! 😍

01/04/2024: The worst shawarma I have ever tried. The meat was disgusting. The service was as bad as the food, extremely rude and grumpy. Totally not recommend

01/04/2024: the bad reviews are clearly based on customers who expect "fast food" shawarma, or the cheap Turkish kebab you buy ready on a skewer and heat up. Here you get homemade meat, which is freshly prepared on a skewer every day, therefore the taste of the meat may be slightly different, due to our own recipe, but it is definitely better
