07/02/2025: My wife is the best cook ever!! so when she is impressed by a dish in a restaurant it means they did an excellent job!! Located in a little plaza in the heart of Østrebro, this place has a great atmosphere and outstanding service which really fits with the slow food concept. Given that we are only a few days away from Xmas we decided to try to special “Duck confit”, which was delicious. Not to miss the dessert sampler!!! We are definitely going back…..

31/01/2025: Fantastic little place with home made open sandwiches, interesting alcohol free IPA and a tasty coffee with indulgent chocolate balls to chase it down. Calm, relaxed. A great find.

Ewalds

14/02/2025: Almost at the same time and approx. 4 hours after a lunch visit to Ewalds, we both got stomach aches, diarrhea and vomiting. We got different dishes, but we both got their caviar with blinis, creme fraise, etc. for starters, and there must have been something wrong with something in that dish. We have contacted the restaurant, which would return. They didn't, so we contacted them again, where they again promised to return. That didn't happen either. So we have submitted a complaint to the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.

06/02/2025: Vi havde en deal på to stk smørrebrød. Super veltillavet mad. En i selskabet, der ikke spiser fisk fik ombyttet det ene stykke smørrebrød til en lækker salat, uden beregning. Perfekt service. Her kommer vi gerne igen.

29/12/2024: Cozy gem of a wine bar along gl.kongevej Here, there is no doubt that it is what it is called - a wine bar. The menu card is far from lacking and here there is something for every taste and wallet - albeit on the expensive end. Really good atmosphere on site and polite service. However, the staff did not know anything about wine or how it should be presented. That said, the wine or the atmosphere certainly didn't fail and is definitely worth a visit.

18/12/2024: A really good wine bar that also serves good food, both seasonal and fish/ham/cheese.
