04/07/2025: Bread cost 84 kr. but they brougth it as if it were complementary, we weren’t told about a price. They were just like hey here’s some bread. We get the bill and are like wait we didn’t order this. The food, wine and servers were good though, so it’s a shame this small thing has to taint the expierience.
02/06/2025: The food was uninteresting and not proportional to the price. The whole thing seemed uninspired and out of step with what one should expect in 2025. Cold red wine, improperly cooked meat, shrimp from the refrigerated counter and cake that tasted suspiciously like one you'd get from most provincial bakeries and again, cold. The place has performed at a higher level in the past.

13/08/2025: Good restaurant with good location and good food
11/08/2025: We can't handle the service, it wasn't really there, so we skipped dessert and didn't get any praise. The food was simply too bland, tasteless and our fish mostly resembled a dry fish fillet. It's a real shame, because the location is top notch and the restaurant is so beautiful and well-decorated. Unfortunately, we won't be back

07/08/2025: - A disastrous experience! I had the absolute worst experience at Restaurant Dauphine ever! Rolf, the owner, was extremely rude and inattentive. I ordered a dish that I had been looking forward to for hours, but when the food arrived, it was cold and tasteless. I asked Rolf if I could have something else, and he replied with a shrug and a sour expression. The food was not only bad, but also presented in a way that looked like it had been thrown on the plate. I felt completely ignored by Rolf, who apparently had better things to do than serve the guests. I asked to speak to the manager, and after a long wait, someone came who didn't even apologize for the poor service. I didn't even get a discount or a free dessert, even though I told him about my bad experience. I will never ever set foot there again and will warn my friends and family about the poor service and food. Rolf really needs to work on his service and customer orientation! *Update:* I have not received any response from the restaurant or Rolf, even though I have contacted them several times. It just shows how little they care about their customers.
09/06/2025: A really good social dining experience in an intimate restaurant. The chef and waiter were really service-minded, and the menu was adapted to gluten allergies.

11/12/2023: We were supposed to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was buy-in food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service, from what I assume is the owner, was service-abandoned. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the feeling that we were a nuisance by coming. In any case, we don't want to arrange anything down there another time.. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be slightly "afraid" of her. At one point, she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. It's not a very good signal to send to your guests.
09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called the café to see if we could use our smartbox at their place. Our smartbox was for brunch for 2 people. We were told by an employee on the phone that it was valid for both people and that we could just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we had eaten and were going over to "pay", they suddenly wanted us to pay 189 kr for the food. My boyfriend and I said that we had called and were told that the smartbox was valid for both of us. So we did not want to pay. After some time of discussing with the employees, we were allowed to leave without paying anything else. It's a shame that it will ruin our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that café.
