09/10/2025: We had brunch and it was great. The food was really good and there was more than enough. The prices weren't that expensive either. Service was fast. We didn't have to wait long for the food.
It's a very pleasant café with very friendly staff.
Our brunch included coffee and a glass of fruit juice.
25/09/2025: After new owner 🫣, open sandwiches not so good anymore, strange decoration, and increased in price.
Good thing there's a bigger selection. Meeeen 🤔

27/09/2025: Very poor coffee. 30 kr. for a filter coffee that is kept warm on the machine is almost a steal. I will not be back for the café's coffee. Cozy place.
21/09/2025: Definitely worth a visit. Local farm shop and café with primarily their own organic products. The atmosphere is relaxed and the café is SO cozy. You can sit inside or outside, there are toilet facilities, and you can buy organic products to take home from their own production. You can even hitchhike further if that's what you want.

19/10/2025: Hunter's price. 19/10 around 8:30-9:00 Should have a chocolate tea bun for my daughter who should have butter on it, I get this. However, you have to pay 23kr. And are wrapped like a buttered roll. I complain about this and am ignored.
Since when does butter cost more than a tea bun for 10kr? 13kr for butter? That's just over the top

Over half an hour to make french fries, mozzarella sticks and a pizza sandwich... And there was no rush at all, it's just not good enough....

30/10/2025: I would really advise people to stay AWAY!, have nothing good to say. Got a WAY too old beef tenderloin that tasted like sour socks and you could smell it in the whole restaurant. SO DAMN, on top of that we also waited over an hour for our meal
13/09/2025: A typical neighborhood restaurant, where everything is on the menu. I had a Kurdish stew that tasted like ketchup. Super large portion, would have preferred half with fries, a piece of bread and some garlic yogurt to spice it up.

The Burger

05/09/2025: It was definitely the last chance, never again. The food is excellent, but now we have tried to order food via the website for the third time, communication by email is that the food is ready for pickup 30 minutes later, and when you arrive they haven't even started preparing the food. All three times it has been a completely normal weekday evening around 5 pm, so not rush hour in any way. It's fine to call.
05/09/2025: Got a portion of nachos, it was a bit disappointing for 109kr. No sour cream, guacamole from the supermarket, same with salsa, cheese poorly distributed, and quickly heated in the microwave. For 109kr I expect a little better, honestly.
Be aware that the menu on their website has different ingredients on some dishes than the menu on site.

24/07/2025: ★☆☆☆☆ A culinary disaster – Jacobs Durumbar in Frederikssund should be avoided at all costs
If you've ever wanted to pay overpriced for a semi-cold durum filled with disappointments and a splash of indifference, then Jacobs Durumbar is the place to be. Calling it "food" is an insult to food in general – this was more of a textural exercise in limp salad, dry meat mass and something that may have once been gravy.
Service? What service?
The staff seemed either newly awake or downright offended that you allowed yourself to order anything. Smile? Forget it. You almost feel like a nuisance from the moment you walk in the door until you leave with your stomach half full and your spirits at rock bottom.
Hygiene:
Let's just say that if the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration came by, it wouldn't end with a happy smiley. The floor was greasy, and the tables clearly looked like they hadn't been wiped down since 2018. You almost want to bring your own cleaning supplies.
The taste?
Imagine cardboard and rubber – and then take some of the flavor out of it. And we're close. The spices were either non-existent or dumped in random places in the durum, and the salad had the texture of wet paper.
All in all:
Jacobs Durumbar is the perfect place to visit if you want to regret your life choices. Save yourself the disappointment – go home and make a fried egg instead. It will taste better, cost less, and be a much more satisfying experience.

20/03/2025: Best restraunt I have every been to!! I really loved the skibby burger which blasted into my mouth. Has such a great skibby enviornment and is one of the best skibby places ever!
