17/07/2026: The food was nice. However, I think there were too many varieties with artificial crab and tempura. There was not a large selection of sushi with decidedly raw and varied fish. Where there was raw fish, the piece was several times a big block. It was ad libitum but still there was a limit of only 1 scallop and 1 ice cream, maybe more things too. Serving was done over the head, and with very few words. I might come again.

15/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars I can highly recommend Nishiki Sushi in Frederikssund. It is a place where the quality of the food is really in focus, and where you quickly notice that the work is done with fresh ingredients and great care. The restaurant offers a wide selection of sushi, poké bowls, hot dishes, vegetarian options and menus for both small and large parties. Something I especially appreciate is the good taste. The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and the ingredients taste as they should. The rice has the right consistency, the fish seems fresh, and the details of each serving have been thought through. It is clear that the kitchen focuses on quality rather than quick solutions. The owners and staff also deserve great praise. You are greeted with a smile and a friendliness that makes you feel welcome. They are helpful, accommodating and do their best to give the guests a good experience. The personal service is one of the things that makes me come back. The only thing to be aware of is that during the restaurant's busiest periods, there may be a slightly longer wait for the food. But honestly, I think it's tolerable. When sushi is made from scratch with fresh ingredients, it takes time - and I would much rather wait a little extra and get a good meal than get something that has been made in a hurry. The restaurant is cozy, clean and inviting, and it is suitable for a romantic dinner, a cozy evening with the family or takeaway when you want good sushi at home. It is clear that both pride and passion are put into the work. The combination of good food, fresh ingredients and friendly service means that Nishiki Sushi has earned a permanent place among my favorite places in Frederikssund. If you love sushi, or just want to try a place where quality and service go hand in hand, then I can highly recommend a visit. Yes, there may be a bit of a wait when it is at its busiest - but the food is worth the wait. 5 well-deserved stars from here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

26/06/2026: I've always enjoyed coming here. The service is always good and the food is fresh and delicious. Last time was a disappointing experience. In addition to cold edamame, ingredients that weren't quite as expected (unripe mango, overripe avocado), the visit ended with them putting shrimp in my vegetarian sushi. That's when I lost both my appetite and my trust. The staff was very apologetic about their mistakes and always did their utmost to mitigate the inconvenience. That's why they still get three stars, but it'll probably be a while before I feel like eating sushi from there again.

26/04/2026: Ordered food on Thursday evening 23/4 and got food poisoning immediately afterwards - The rest of the family luckily escaped but they didn't eat the tuna nigiri that I unfortunately ate - Have ordered from them before but only about 3 times - We won't order from them again

22/07/2026: We just held our golden wedding anniversary in the restaurant and it was a really good experience, super delicious food, smiling, helpful and competent waiters and not least an owner who really puts his guests first. We can only recommend this place if you are going to have a party, and the view is not bad either.

18/06/2026: Wonderful combination of Thai food and sushi for a very affordable price. I often start with 5-8 pieces of sushi and a little wasabi dissolved in soy sauce, then some samples from the good buffet, and finally some dessert. The first 4 days of the week you get away cheaper than Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you are not into Thai food, they also make a good steak, and they know the difference between medium rare and medium. There are not many places in Denmark that can do that.

15/07/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5 star I very rarely write negative reviews because I know that all businesses can have a bad day. However, this time I feel it is important to share my experience in a factual and constructive way. Unfortunately, my visit to Yaya Sushi did not live up to my expectations. I found the concept a bit boring, and for the price I did not get the experience I had hoped for. I had expected more variety, more flavor, and an overall experience that was worth the price. What worried me the most was the handling of my shellfish allergy. I did not feel that there was sufficient clarity about the allergens, and this made me feel unsafe. For people with food allergies, it is crucial that the staff can safely guide about ingredients and the risk of cross-contamination. This is an area where I believe there should be extra focus. I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback. There is always room for improvement in both service and guest experience, and I sincerely wish that for the restaurant. I wouldn't rule out visiting Yaya Sushi again at a later date. If the experience is significantly better next time – both in terms of food, service and allergen handling – I would like to update my review and change my rating. This time, however, it will only be 1 out of 5 stars. ⭐☆☆☆☆

09/09/2025: Super delicious all you can eat buffet with a selection of sushi, Mongolian bbq, delicious curry dishes. There is a complete dessert buffet with coffee, cake, ice cream with different toppings. 10/10 visit

30/11/2025: Really good food and atmosphere, we where there for our companies Xmas dinner. How ever it was a bit chaotic when I checked in. First the receptionist said room 24 instead of 42, not a big problem it can happen if you switch between Danish and english. Then room 42 had no key so they moved me to room 1, no problem they solved this quick. BUT when I went to bed very late at around 0:30, someone was moving furniture around in the room over me for at least half an hour. Who does that in the middle of the night?

18/11/2025: There was one minus and a very big one. We were a large group. The food was paid in advance, but we had to pay for drinks individually and that via room number/name, but there was no control at all and the prices of the drinks were not cheap. If I were to come there again for an overnight stay, I insist that it be with payment with what was ordered, so that you don't end up paying for something you haven't drunk. It gives a bad atmosphere when the accounts don't match, both ways. Boring on an otherwise good experience. It's generally a bit cold in the place, but it's a really cozy place.

15/07/2026: We were here on a day when everyone else was there too, so there was a huge queue in the drive-in. But when you want McDonald's, you just have to have it!!!!

Unfortunately, my recent visit to McDonald's in Frederikssund was an experience that disappointed me in several ways. It seemed very busy, and of course that can happen. I fully understand that peak times can make it difficult to deliver the same experience as usual. But as a customer, you still expect a certain quality - both when it comes to service and food. Unfortunately, I found the service to be impersonal and a bit indifferent. You didn't feel particularly welcome, and the good customer service that can make a big difference was hard to spot. A smile, a friendly tone or just a feeling that you are seen as a customer means a lot, especially when it's busy. The food also didn't live up to my expectations. It didn't seem as fresh or inviting as I usually associate with a good visit to McDonald's. When you pay for a meal, you expect it to be served with the same quality, no matter how busy it is. I hope this experience was just a one-off. All businesses can have a bad day, so I don't want to judge the place on one experience alone. Instead, I hope that the management and staff take it as constructive feedback and work to ensure that both service and food maintain a more consistent level - even when the restaurant is busy. I will probably return at some point because I believe the experience can be better than the one I had this time. If that happens, I am also willing to change my rating. This time, however, the rating must be 1 out of 5 stars because neither the service nor the food lived up to the expectations that one can reasonably have as a guest.
