From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and a feeling that quality and good service are in focus. What impresses me most is the great variety on the menu. Whether you are into freshly made sushi, classic Asian dishes or a delicious piece of open sandwiches, there is something for everyone. Not many places manage to combine different cuisines in a way that still maintains top quality – but Yang Køkken og Sushi succeeds. The sushi is beautifully presented, fresh and made with good ingredients. The fish tastes fresh, the rice has the right consistency, and every bite shows that care is taken in the preparation. It is sushi that makes you want to order again. The open sandwiches also deserve great praise. The bread is fresh, the toppings are delicious, and the whole thing is beautifully decorated, so it looks inviting and tastes fantastic. You can clearly feel that there is a focus on both taste and presentation. The staff is smiling, helpful and attentive. You feel welcome, and the service is both fast and professional. It makes the whole experience even better when you are greeted with a good mood and a genuine interest in the guests having a good experience. The restaurant appears clean, neat and inviting, and there is a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. It is an obvious place for both a quick lunch, a nice dinner with the family or an evening with friends. It is clear that Yang Køkken og Sushi emphasizes quality all the way around – from the ingredients to the serving. The combination of tasty food, beautiful dishes and good service makes the place stand out positively. I can only give my warmest recommendations. If you are looking for fresh sushi, delicious sandwiches or tasty Asian dishes in cozy surroundings, then Yang Køkken og Sushi is definitely worth a visit. 14/06/2026: Good and polite service. Their all you can eat sushi is a nice concept, they just aren't on par with the other places in town that offer the same thing. It's a little more generic and less innovative than the other places. The food tastes good, the selection is ok (although a little too fresh from the freezer when you look at the hot dishes). I've had their open sandwiches for a few different events, that's not their forte.

20/08/2026: All in all, a fair experience, I thought: Wheelchair users cannot get here and people with walking difficulties, possibly with a walker, have a very difficult time here. If you are into wine, it is far too expensive for the average wallet. You do not have the opportunity to buy a wine in a slightly cheaper price range.

06/08/2026: I had a cup of coffee yesterday, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. The coffee tasted flat. It was a disappointing experience, and I hope the quality will be improved in the future.

10/10/2026: New in town, trying out pizzerias to find something good. Found it! Absolutely. Wild. Delicious. Good bases, perfectly baked, lots of fillings that have both good consistency and taste. Friendly, welcoming staff with eye contact and smiles. Perfect. 👌🏻

03/10/2026: Mediocre food at far too high prices. After waiting patiently for almost an hour, I was asked what I had ordered = 2 things. I noticed that there was an item on the oven, which turned out to be for me, when the other item was ready, I asked how long it (previously mentioned item) had been there, they said 5 minutes, which was far from right. I demanded to have my order made again, as we want our food hot, it just needed to be discussed and I went down to wait further, then a "finch" just came my way from behind the counter "why didn't you say anything before, you just sat there and stared" ok, so it is the customer's duty to make sure that the "kitchen" doesn't forget your order. It is a place where quality, fresh ingredients and good service go hand in hand, and where you always feel welcome. One of the first things you notice is the fresh ingredients. Whether you choose a sandwich, a salad or a burger, you can taste that there is no compromise on quality. The sandwiches are filling, the bread is delicious, the vegetables are crispy, and the homemade dressings and pesto give it all an extra boost. There is also the option of putting together your own salad, and it is a big plus that the selection is varied and follows the season. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Even though it is a smaller place, it feels inviting, and you are greeted with a smile and friendly service. The staff is helpful and takes time for the customers, which makes a big difference. I am particularly impressed by how stable the quality is. Every time I've visited Sundwich, the food has been fresh, beautifully presented and made with care. It's the kind of place you can safely recommend to friends and family. The prices are also very reasonable in relation to the quality and portion sizes you get. 15/07/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5 star I very rarely write negative reviews because I know that all businesses can have a bad day. However, this time I feel it is important to share my experience in a factual and constructive way. Unfortunately, my visit to Yaya Sushi did not live up to my expectations. I found the concept a bit boring, and for the price I did not get the experience I had hoped for. I had expected more variety, more flavor, and an overall experience that was worth the price. What worried me the most was the handling of my shellfish allergy. I did not feel that there was sufficient clarity about the allergens, and this made me feel unsafe. For people with food allergies, it is crucial that the staff can safely guide about ingredients and the risk of cross-contamination. This is an area where I believe there should be extra focus. I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback. There is always room for improvement in both service and guest experience, and I sincerely wish that for the restaurant. I wouldn't rule out visiting Yaya Sushi again at a later date. If the experience is significantly better next time – both in terms of food, service and allergen handling – I would like to update my review and change my rating. This time, however, it will only be 1 out of 5 stars. ⭐☆☆☆☆

06/08/2026: A good place to get some good old-fashioned barbecue after a lovely motorbike trip to Skuldelev Havn, Skuldelev Ås and Selsø Castle. Hornsherred is underrated (says someone who has lived in Hornsherred most of his youth).

11/05/2026: Normally decent pizzas, but today I tried the Hawaian for the first time, expecting a pizza with ham and pineapple. What I got was half a kilo of ham with a little bit of pizza base and cheese underneath. The pineapple was only tossed on in the middle, not evenly scattered over the entire pizza. The excessive amount of ham made it inedible for me. Very disappointing.

30/11/2025: Really good food and atmosphere, we where there for our companies Xmas dinner. How ever it was a bit chaotic when I checked in. First the receptionist said room 24 instead of 42, not a big problem it can happen if you switch between Danish and english. Then room 42 had no key so they moved me to room 1, no problem they solved this quick. BUT when I went to bed very late at around 0:30, someone was moving furniture around in the room over me for at least half an hour. Who does that in the middle of the night?

18/11/2025: There was one minus and a very big one. We were a large group. The food was paid in advance, but we had to pay for drinks individually and that via room number/name, but there was no control at all and the prices of the drinks were not cheap. If I were to come there again for an overnight stay, I insist that it be with payment with what was ordered, so that you don't end up paying for something you haven't drunk. It gives a bad atmosphere when the accounts don't match, both ways. Boring on an otherwise good experience. It's generally a bit cold in the place, but it's a really cozy place.

12/10/2026: My wife and I live in Frederikssund and we have gone to the drive-in quite a few times and bought burgers, but the last 5-6 times we have bought burgers there they have been damn cold and the sundaes we have bought have not even been half full, we will never go to McDonald's in Frederikssund again!!!

It is a great pleasure to know that you can count on tasty food, fresh ingredients and a quality that is stable from time to time. It gives a sense of security that is worth appreciating. One of the things that really characterizes Café Kignæs is the focus on good ingredients. The food tastes fresh, the vegetables have bite, the meat is well prepared, and you can feel that work is put into delivering a proper meal. It is honest, tasty everyday food that works really well when you want an easy and delicious alternative to standing in the kitchen yourself. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you are always greeted with a smile. It helps to make the experience positive, and you feel welcome, regardless of whether you take food home or eat on site. If I had to make a few constructive wishes, the portions could be a little larger. The food tastes so good that you could often eat a little more, and a slightly more generous portion size would make an already good experience even better. I would also like a little more variety on the menu. The dish of the day is always tasty, but sometimes it seems like the same dishes are repeated week after week. It could be exciting with more seasonal dishes, new taste experiences or theme weeks, so there was even more to look forward to. Having said that, these are small wishes for a place that already does a lot of things well. The quality is high, the ingredients are fresh, the food is made with care, and the service is good. That is far more important than having a huge menu. All in all, Café Kignæs is a place that I can highly recommend. If you are looking for tasty everyday food made from fresh ingredients and served with good service, then it is definitely worth a visit. With slightly larger portions and a little more variety on the menu, the experience would be top notch in my opinion. A strong recommendation and 4 out of 5 well-deserved stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

18/06/2026: Wonderful combination of Thai food and sushi for a very affordable price. I often start with 5-8 pieces of sushi and a little wasabi dissolved in soy sauce, then some samples from the good buffet, and finally some dessert. The first 4 days of the week you get away cheaper than Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you are not into Thai food, they also make a good steak, and they know the difference between medium rare and medium. There are not many places in Denmark that can do that.
