12/11/2025: I ordered two dürums today and it was a huge disappointment. There was almost only bread and almost no filling – it can't even be called a dürum. Totally disrespectful to the customers. The bread was not fully baked and the filling was maybe 2% of the entire dürum. I threw it out after two bites. I will never order from you again.

30/10/2025: Wow what an experience. We haven't lived in this town long, but we have definitely found our place to buy food. See you again soon.

21/12/2025: Skovlyst is the coziest place, but you should avoid their mulled wine. It is only served outside, and the young girl, who must be new, brought 4 glasses from inside in a thermos, and the mulled wine was lukewarm. No cozy Christmas lights outside at 4:30 PM. Just dark and gloomy. First and last time with Christmas games.

08/12/2025: We have been coming to Skovlyst for many years, and it has been really nice. The last few times it has been a mixed experience. Tonight we came for some mulled wine and a good time. The waiter almost looked like we were a nuisance. It took a long time before we got mulled wine, and even longer with the waffles, which we had to ask for. Lots of staff who were busy with their own. All in all, an experience of not being welcome. I think it's time to find somewhere else.

11/07/2025: We just needed 3 more cakes this afternoon (it's 11:00 now), no cakes, the saleswoman didn't know anything and the 2 people behind the counter were busy making breakfast sandwiches for guests outside. Nice enough, but is it a bakery or a cafe?. Long wait. We got a strawberry pie and it's probably nice enough. I'd happily pay for the expensive potato cakes if you can get them. Now we've eaten the strawberry cake, pretty indifferent - as my husband said the last time we drove to Værløse for cakes.

08/07/2025: A great place for bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and much more. Large selection and nice seating both inside and outside.

07/11/2025: We usually order from this restaurant through the Wolt app, and I have to say the food quality has always been higher than my expectations. Almost everything we’ve tried has been excellent. I highly recommend this place!

23/10/2025: Best local pizza place. You will have the perfect copenhagen outskirts pizza experience here. No sourdough crust or fancy toppings, but a solid "we make a 1000 pizzas a day" craftsmanship. The quality is undeniable the most solid in the town. We have bought 100 pizzas and pitas from this place, never have I been disappointed by a dip in the quality. This is our go-to place for a quick dinner.

01/07/2025: On our trip to Frederiksborg Castle, we treated ourselves to a small snack here. The owners were super friendly. They also speak a bit of German. The food was delicious. We'd love to go back :)

07/11/2025: When I enter, I am greeted by a sweet and smiling employee who quickly gives me a cozy seat in the corner. There is good service and the food is good and tastes really good. I would love to come back and eat there again.

27/08/2025: They were talking about how much I dipped in my mayonnaise, how much chili I put in the pita bread. The pita bread was fine until I got to the bottom. I think there was kebab in it, and I had ordered it with chicken.

14/06/2025: Based on a single visit but unfortunately a bit of a trend I have experienced many times in the cake shop. Ordered a cappuccino that the person who made it clearly had no skills for. The milk was burnt, and in no way frothed properly, or poured properly. The result was a taste of rice porridge, burnt tongue and a cup that was half full after a short time when the sea foam on top had settled. Practice when you still pay a handsome sum for coffee. Unfortunately, almost every 2nd time the coffee is made by someone who neither can nor wants to
