18/08/2024: Delicious ice cream. Both scoop and soft ice cream. Right next to the track. Train passes slowly. And therefore a fun attraction for the kids.

10/09/2024: The summer season was over, so the restaurant was closed, but we got a nice "Greetings from Norway", which was salmon with braised potatoes and roasted vegetables. To this, a delicious Spanish white wine Naja. In the afternoon we were looked after by a young waiter who did everything to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was really good with homemade jams and completely freshly made, portioned scrambled eggs with bacon. The room was not big, but completely clean and nothing was missing. We had a really nice stay and would happily recommend it.

13/09/2024: We have held birthdays and weddings at Ølsted several times with my parents.....this time it was a funeral after my mother's funeral. The inn did so well and the food was just what we ordered!

07/09/2024: Skovtur med 43 mennesker til en fantastisk buffet. Personalet var helt i top, og der blev endda sørget for ekstra tøjvask for en deltager, som var lidt uheldig ved Arresø. Hyggeligt sted med "gammel" udseende sale.

08/09/2024: Really nice beach bar, which I don't think you find in many places. It's cosy, good food, very child-friendly and a great atmosphere with plenty of cozy life, e.g. with street basketball courts next to it that you can watch. It is exactly where you want to be on a warm summer day/evening. And then there is even free food for the children and lots of pleasant activities with crayons, sandbox etc. - fantastic. The overall impression gave us the feeling that there must be some generous and nice owners behind this place. And the young girls who were in the kitchen also seemed well-versed and had a good handle on cooking and serving. Great recommendation from here! (Only small suggestion is that you could consider having some staff go around and sell wine and drinks between the seats. You don't want to stand in the queue again, and I could have drunk an extra glass of wine 😏 It will increase the earnings and the service.)
