07/01/2026: Dear reader, this is my first review in my life, but I thought I should share my experience with Kong Kebab.
When I enter the store, the owner and his employees are sitting with their heads buried in their phones, which is probably okay if you don't have a sense of service. The only problem is that they are very likely sitting with the same phone when they are sitting on the barrel, and the same hands are used to open and hold the pita bread they serve to the customers.
Why it takes one person to put meat in the bread, and another to put salad in the same arrangement, is a mystery to me, now that they are standing shoulder to shoulder. But it's probably the same puzzle that's at play when one shawarma gets red cabbage, iceberg, tomato and cucumber, and the other only iceberg lettuce, when two "with everything" were asked for.
I have a craft background, so taking measurements is a piece of cake - I would estimate that there was around 3-4 mm of meat, laid so nicely in the south-facing part of the bread, the rest (of one shawarma) was 95% iceberg lettuce and the part of the tomato that the stem is on which you usually put in the trash.
I was the only customer in the store, so I can only interpret the service level as high and would therefore not recommend others to throw money at kong kebab.

22/07/2025: Delicious 🍓 pie and Fragilité roulade with nougat cream. Soft kernel rye bread 👌👌👌 Thanks to the cake-crazy colleagues I have, otherwise I probably wouldn't have stopped by.
03/06/2025: The clerk first stood talking on the phone, which one must assume is one of the most unhygienic things, after she was finished, she stood scratching her face/pimples/unclean skin, then without using gloves or washing/sanitizing her hands, took my breakfast bread….
Damn, had to throw it out.
This is the last time I buy anything there👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

18/04/2026: We ordered two pizzas and although it said there was black pepper on them, the amount was absolutely extreme. There was so much pepper that the pizzas were almost inedible – we had to drink water after each bite.
We called the store, but the employee said he couldn't help and referred us to complain. It's very disappointing. That's why we're complaining now.
Again, very disappointing experience.

Was promised chicken kebab pizza, but got 1 piece of chicken on each piece 😐

11/11/2025: A great bar with a range of Danish and international beers. The interior was cosy and also had plenty of outdoor seating with heaters. Staff were friendly.
22/10/2025: Male server or manager does not smile, instead smoking cigarettes and just scrolling on his phone. We expected expensive drinks in this area of Copenhagen but some customer service would be nice. Limited food options but our meal was okay.

13/04/2026: We were down and ordered a pork roast with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. When we got home the skins were completely limp, the mashed potatoes were cold. And I bought a large burger and it's inedible 👎 Will never go there again
22/02/2026: Ordered food for delivery. Called after 45 minutes to see how far they were. The answer was “right down the stairs”. After another 45 minutes I call again, to which they reply “the order wasn’t big enough for us to bother delivering it”.

13/03/2026: I ordered a pizza and it was served. While I was eating, I later noticed that the person in the kitchen was smoking. So I stopped eating. Before I left, an order came on the phone and he started making the pizza without washing his hands.
08/03/2026: Never received my order. The guy on the phone was rude as well.

16/12/2025: Came here at 7:15 , door half closed , customers inside , wouldn't let us in even though it closes at 8. I am not coming back again if this is how they treat customers.

Parma's pizza

01/03/2026: After a change of ownership of Parmas, I thought they deserved another visit. The last visit a few years ago was at the weak end of the scale.
I took the classic Margherita, because if you can make it with good taste, you know that the base for almost all the other pizzas is good.
I was very positively surprised. The taste was really good and the ratio between tomato and cheese was exactly as it should be. The base was thin and delicious and the edges were not too doughy or large.
The new owner deserves some more good reviews so that they don't suffer from previous sloppiness.
21/02/2026: I bought a pepperoni pizza and I got something else instead and they speak English and a little Danish but the food tasted bad it tasted like a frozen pizza I can't recommend I'll never go again but I got a free soda so I give the food 1/5 and then the service 2/5 the atmosphere 1/5

28/02/2026: We ordered pasta totollini and there wasn't much pasta and gogonzola but way too much cream so it was swimming around - You could hear them arguing in the kitchen and it's not good for customers to listen to.
20/02/2026: Shut up. They couldn't even make a simple order. When I called and pointed out the mistake, all I got was an argument and poor excuses. They have no idea what quality or service is.

03/11/2025: I actually don't think I've ever experienced such poor service at a McDonald's.
Whether it's inside the store or if you order via an app.
You meet staff who seem like they're ONLY there for the money, and not to provide a good experience and service for their customers.
You always wait longer than you should, even when it's NOT busy.
And when you order, there's always at least one item missing or replaced with something else.
Just stay away from McDonald's Friheden!
25/09/2025: Waited about 30 minutes for a soda and a sugar doughnut. Went to the counter and asked where my order was. They asked what number and order contents I had. I told them and they started to prepare it a little later. I got my soda and a little later I got a completely frozen doughnut - was told I had to wait to eat it because it had been frozen. I asked for my money back, but instead got a chocolate cookie. Shortly before this came, a man came down and asked if it was right that he had to wait over 20 minutes for his food. A little later it happened to be ready for him.
Stay away from here.
This is not the first time I have experienced slow food delivery. No matter how busy they are, the wait is long - even if you only have to pick up fries (you can wait about 20 minutes for that, right?).

24/03/2024: Pragtfuld middag, fantastisk service. Gode omgivelser. Føler sig rigtig velkommen. En oplevelse som man bør unde sig selv. Vær opmærksom på at her hænger kvalitet og pris sammen.
16/03/2024: Vi fik en 10-retters tastning menu med tilhørende vinmenu. Alt var afstemt og pris og kvalitet hænger godt sammen.
Vi havde nogle ændringer til maden bl.a. en som kun spiste fisk. Pia fandt hurtig en løsning.
Et besøg værd. Vi kommer hvert fald igen.
