23/02/2025: Eating out in Ishøj is something of a desert trek. There is virtually nothing but ultra-processed fast food. But then Arkens Cafe is a bright spot. In the good weather, my wife and I went for a walk, and on the way had lunch at the Ark. We got the sour cod which tasted excellent. The only minus was that we lacked side plates for the bread - we had to use the napkins. To this we drank a lager and IPA - also absolutely perfect. Friendly and efficient service.

11/03/2025: Ordered 6 different items, and it said that if you ordered for a certain time it would be sent the same day (I ordered 3-4 hours before). It took 5 days before the item was actually shipped (it should have been here the next day according to their own info, when I contacted them I was told that they had been "busy", but then you have to hire someone extra for that part or stop promising to ship on time!) and when the package showed up, FOUR out of six items were wrong and only two were correct - correct categories but wrong brands and sizes, it seems like they just throw away whatever they can find that resembles what you have ordered at checkout. Funnily enough, _all_ of the wrong items were cheaper than the ones I had ordered and paid for, and I don't think that was a coincidence! I have no intention of buying from them again, this was simply too frivolous - and with such bad service I don't bother trying to return as it will most likely end up in as big a farce as the delivery and the goods ended up being. It's an ommer!
