19/10/2025: We had the Sunday lunch, with a nice selection, without being gourmet. However, fine for what it is, if there are several people in a group with different tastes and preferences.
Fantastic location, right on the water.
12/10/2025: Early bird, 2 servings. Great area for a walk before or after dinner. Food was really good, staff nice, place is old and the floor have these really cool old marks after waiters walking the same path year after year. We will be back in summer time as the outside seating area look awesome, with a perfect water view.

20/09/2025: Relaxed atmosphere with cozy decor and great jazz. I think their flat white and homemade cakes are delicious.
30/08/2025: The coffee itself was good, but the presentation could be improved. The water glasses weren’t very clean, and the coffee was served with some splashes on the table. A bit more attention to detail would make the experience much nicer.

25/09/2025: A diamond wedding anniversary was celebrated with a lovely dinner at Den gule Cottage! Everything was perfect!
Plus the view over Øresund!

01/10/2025: When the guy at the counter understood that we are tourists, he started acting in a very unfriendly way. Very unkind people, horrible service. They were all working without gloves, touching money, food and everything at the same time. They were all rude and when I asked for a small bag, they wanted more money for it. I do not recommend this place at all.

05/07/2025: Great food and lovely staff. no English menu but the staff were happy to help us order and understand the menu. The food was great, drinks where really nice and the ice-cream was great.

12/10/2025: Ordered a burger, was asked how the steak should be cooked - I asked for medium rare.
The burger appeared after a 35 minute wait. Completely boring and generic burger. The steak was fried completely gray and tasted like deep-fried food, a few pieces of half-sluggish lettuce, a slice of tomato and a little dressing. The bun was toasted so hard that it was crunchy dry.
The rest of the party had brunch, they were left with the same dead boring generic experience.
All in all, we won't be back, the quality is simply too bad here.

I got a cold durum filled with salad, almost no meat, very little dressing and with tomatoes. Come on! It's kebab! Not rocket science! I'll eat my food somewhere else in the future.

29/09/2025: I have only tried Halifax once before at another place and loved it, so was looking forward to trying it again. But it seems a lot has changed since then. For example, they no longer give 5kr off if you make a burger vegetarian instead of meat. I thought that was a winner deal...but not anymore!
The vinegar chips previously were delightful and very flavourful. But here they were dry and not vinegary and the portion size has shrunk. Pity.
The Veggie pattie options have changed and out of the 2 options, they didn't have one available anyway.
It's not a cheap experience and for the portion size, don't think it's a great deal.
The staff were nice and the location cosy and nice being in the glass house.
