28/04/2025: You always can expect a variety of delicious asian cuisine food during your visit, in a evening hours they offering full variety of Japan sushi’s, Chinese and Thai food with lots of deserts. Really good place to visit if you are hungry and want to eat in buffet style

24/08/2025: We used to have better experience at this restaurant. We tried the ad libitum menu after a long time here and our experience was not the greatest for a few reasons. 1. It is mandatory to get a drink when you order ad libitum at this restaurant. This is for good reason as the soya is eay too salty and some of the options like kingrejer on scewers is very salty that you need to have some drink next to you so you don't dry out. We both felt our blood pressure has increased by the time we were finished. 2. The owner is a nice and calm person, but we didn't feel relaxed at the restaurant. It was busy time of course but the staff were clearly under stress and running around without a smile or anything. Behaviour of one of the staff was borderline aggressive when I tried to take another soya sauce from the buffet in hope that it is less salty (he jumped and said why are you doing that it is the same as what you have on your table! I mean come on. May be I want more!!) 3. Some of our warm dishes orders were not delivered and we were told to take them from the buffet instead which was not made fresh and we didn't enjoy it as much. All in all, we used to have better experience before.

06/09/2025: Bought a durum for 80 kr.... overpriced was my first thought, but maybe it was big, good or in some other way worth 80 kr. It was not worth it in any way. 90% of the durum was lettuce leaves, there was almost no meat and the size was completely ordinary. I would pay 50 kr at most for a durum with that amount of meat.

08/05/2025: Really cozy cafe with lots of good seating and delicious drinks and cakes - something better than others, but that's a matter of taste. Very good service and nice staff. However, only 4/5 stars are given, as the door was wide open for all the hours I was there, and you get really cold at the end if you sit in the front part of the cafe. The door is open every time I visit, and I can understand that it probably creates a better indoor climate, but they could keep it closed for part of the day, and then open it when needed. That would show more consideration for their guests. Clean toilet though and otherwise a nice place.

18/10/2025: The price and quality of the pizza are completely out of sync. The pizza was expensive and tasted bad and the ingredients didn't seem fresh. Definitely not worth the money. I can't recommend this place

24/07/2025: Small rooms, small very soft bed in the bad way. Could hear the elevator going up and down all night.

22/07/2025: The breakfast is good. But the rooms need to be looked after a little more. And then the cleaning staff should probably take a course, got a room with long hairs all over the floor. The shower had black grout until the hot water came on, then the dirt came out. I've been happy to stay here, but last time was a bad experience

23/08/2025: So, what the hell is going on at Rene's? The place itself is nice, but the bartender clearly hasn't passed the exam in good service. You really have to look a long time for such POOR service and get such poor and downright condescending treatment. I even witnessed a verbal assault on two girls the bartender didn't think were good enough to play pool. The worst part of the experience was actually that the bartender continued with his rude behavior, as if it was completely normal, without the slightest understanding that he was ruining the atmosphere for all the other guests. It was unpleasant to be there, and I left feeling like I had wasted both time and money.

19/08/2025: One of the few brown pubs that still exist, fortunately. Cozy atmosphere and great service and the food (beers) is cold and fresh from the box. I'm not a smoker but I always smoke at the worst. Thanks René.

09/09/2025: Waited a long time, got a vegetarian sandwich served in a paper tray which I had to eat because it was stuck. So threw most of it away. And quite expensive too

21/08/2025: You shouldn't blame the young waiter who did his best, but was clearly not trained to provide service at the price level dictated by the menu. The food itself was better than bad, but for the price it was daylight robbery.
