05/11/2025: Bad service, they care more about takeaway than the person eating it. They set a requirement that you can't sit for more than 2 hours but you wait for the food for 1.5 hours for 2 orders and you have to pay extra if you leave more than 3 pieces. I won't go there again, I felt overlooked and the obvious mistakes they made, you just got an empty apology and the mistake was repeated, which should have been compensation. Other tables experienced the same thing.

02/11/2025: The food was good, but there were more customers than the place could handle, which meant that the service was poor. We waited over half an hour between each time we ordered and our food was served. We had ordered ad libitum, and we got hungry between each order. It seemed that our orders were not in order when we asked, and there was some food we didn't get at all. We wouldn't have had time to get full if we hadn't booked the table for an extra hour. We didn't get to clear the table before we were served more food. We experienced that our empty plates were pushed out onto the table and spilled a bowl of soy sauce on us when they served the food, and we experienced that soy sauce was spilled on us when they cleared the table next to us. All in all, a somewhat stressful experience.

02/03/2025: The food was top notch, but the waiters were a bit lethargic.... definitely worth a visit because the sushi is wildly delicious.

28/02/2025: Good sushi, but nothing special about it. The service was not particularly good, but they were also very busy. And they did it well.

24/08/2025: We used to have better experience at this restaurant. We tried the ad libitum menu after a long time here and our experience was not the greatest for a few reasons. 1. It is mandatory to get a drink when you order ad libitum at this restaurant. This is for good reason as the soya is eay too salty and some of the options like kingrejer on scewers is very salty that you need to have some drink next to you so you don't dry out. We both felt our blood pressure has increased by the time we were finished. 2. The owner is a nice and calm person, but we didn't feel relaxed at the restaurant. It was busy time of course but the staff were clearly under stress and running around without a smile or anything. Behaviour of one of the staff was borderline aggressive when I tried to take another soya sauce from the buffet in hope that it is less salty (he jumped and said why are you doing that it is the same as what you have on your table! I mean come on. May be I want more!!) 3. Some of our warm dishes orders were not delivered and we were told to take them from the buffet instead which was not made fresh and we didn't enjoy it as much. All in all, we used to have better experience before.

12/10/2025: Ichiban means "the best" - they can't live up to that. We've been there a few times - and they never manage the orders. Furthermore, we've experienced a decline in quality.

05/10/2025: The food was good. The service was also good. BUT there was just such a long wait. There were 6 of us and we had all ordered. Everything came in a row. And we didn't show up at the end what we had ordered and were on our way. Note to yourself that only one or 2 people are ordering.

02/10/2025: Among sushi places with sushi ad libitum, Oyisi sushi in Aabenraa and Super Sushi in Skive are probably my two favorites!

27/09/2025: Dissatisfied with the service.. I ordered takeaway for a specific time.. I didn't receive any notification that it was ready for pickup! I just showed up myself.. The sushi tasted good but the presentation was just awful. Some pieces were big and fat, some were small.. Both end pieces were just awfully big, they usually cut them off and don't put them in orders!!!

28/04/2025: Very cozy place with delicious, varied running sushi. Hard to stop eating 😋 Close to the station.

06/10/2025: The food was poor, half cold and half empty plates, soda that tasted of salt, a machine that wasn't cleaned properly, drinks that tasted of water, you had to wait a long time for a wine glass... 4 wanted to order from the menu card, they only got their food when the rest of us were having dessert, and their food wasn't satisfactory either.

04/10/2025: The place was okay.....but then there is nothing more to say Food was really bad the sushi area was extremely messy and the sushi was limp.. Have eaten in many Chinese restaurants but this is the worst sushi I have ever had in my life We had ordered water got old water said there were problems with the pipes the water tasted really strange. Got fried meat and vegetables which is normally delicious but it was tough and inedible. For a moment and thought it could be a main menu that looked dead didn't feel like eating it, a waiter stood with his own mobile phone And afterwards standing and touching the menu was dirty I thought it was goofy for a really angry smiley

21/08/2025: The food was delicious, however, when ordering the tasting menu the portion sizes are small and the delivery of the meals are like molasses in the winter time, slow. There was a 234 Dkk credit card fee as well

10/08/2025: Fantastic place! Fine high-end dining surrounded by exceptional and cozy atmosphere. Both the food and the service are amazing, focusing on the very and every detail. Highly recommend!

24/07/2025: Lunch all u can eat. For 169 until 3 pm. The sushi pieces tasted nice, but were way too big - so you couldn't taste many different kinds. They forgot a couple of our orders, even though they were ordered via mobile. But all in all an ok experience.

20/07/2025: Super disappointing experience. The sushi rice was extremely salty and completely inedible. We left and only paid for our water.

16/10/2025: The best sushi place in Odense with a wide variety of starters. The staff is very welcoming and nice. The only negative thing is their desserts.

10/10/2025: Strange to go and delete reviews.. So we'll try one more time, just for the record (and not least for food for thought, for those who want to go out and eat sushi in Odense). It's Valentine's night, the wife and I have booked a table. We choose the "chef's choice", so we can sit back a bit and just enjoy the atmosphere and each other. The food comes, and we are deeply disappointed with what is served to us - unfortunately, we fall into the situation so bad at handling such things and none of us are good at confronting such experiences. The sushi that is served is clearly the end pieces from other people's rolls, so that the plate could be filled up. We only get "inside-out" rolls, which is fine but extremely boring after about 30 pieces of sushi.. Towards the end of the visit we mention it to the owner/chef, which triggered an almost comical reaction behind the counter. The master of the house clearly turns off completely and we are told that it is our fault and we should just choose ourselves. Compensation (Here we think that they recognize the misery that was served) 10% on the next takeaway order.... Conclusion: Bluefin was otherwise a place we came often, but it has not been exclusively good experiences and this time the camel's back simply broke. The sushi is generally delicious and tastes as you would expect from sushi in that price range. The staff gets 0/5 stars. As others describe, it seems most of all that the waiters don't bother to be there. 1/5 ..

16/10/2025: Really not good.. I ordered a small china box a little while later I got a stomach ache. When I got home I got a really bad stomach ache, threw up twice and could see that it was the food from earlier. Just saying it must be some food poisoning or is it dirty

19/08/2025: The best sushi in town! Everything tastes so delicious and authentic.

10/09/2025: have been here MANY TIMES and can highly recommend. the food is good and the service is fantastic. was here with a group of 8. difficult for the ones at the back to get the food OURSELVES but we were able to figure it out together so no problems there. Insanely good food and cakes. would 100% come back here again it is so amazing have never tasted better sushi before. AND fantastic for the price.

03/08/2025: Today was under all criticism there was no sushi on the conveyor belt, just a little shrimp and crab. This is the first time I have experienced sitting for over an hour and not getting any sushi. Finally had to leave, and complained to the waiter. His answer was that there was a lot of takeaway - okay is their money better than mine then??

20/09/2025: I will never order food from here again, poor service when ordering via gift card.

10/07/2025: Reasonable without blowing you away. You don't have to wait too long for the food and the quality is acceptable. We took advantage of the lunch offer.
