25/01/2024: Really nice food for a nice price.

27/12/2023: (Update: after having visited here several times, we have on each visit not gotten the food we ordered, and needed to clarify a lot with the waiters and re-order food. This leads to a discontinued and not enjoyful dining experience.) A very cozy restaurant with good food and a decent selection. Would definitely recommend it, and I will visit it again. Edit: now visited it twice. The food and service has improved and the presentation of the food on the trays (in 3d) is fantastic. We could hear some minor arguments from the kitchen which took a bit away from the atmosphere, but whenever we were approached by waiters, they were kind and attentive.

18/12/2023: Today I ordered food from Thaiplus for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. But unfortunately the beef was tender, so only 4 stars.

19/03/2024: Suverænt sted. Som Aalborgmand gennem hele mit liv har jeg oplevet hvordan stedet har udviklet sig løbende gennem årene. Det er med afstand det bedste sted i Aalborg anno 2024.

13/03/2024: Although we have visited this restaurant numerous times at the beautiful waterfront in Aalborg we have never had the Omakase experience. After visiting 1 - Star Michelin rated restaurant here in the northern part of Jutland and 2-Star restaurant on Bornholm last year we had to find out what our local favorite could do - going all in... We were not let down by Vinh and his staff. The food and wine pairing was perfect, ambience and everything stood out. An amazing evening. Best we ever had.

09/01/2024: Disappointing and the food quality, I'm sorry to say, is rock bottom. It is experienced as if it is the cheapest raw material. The price is okay but the food is just not good enough. Was there with my sister and it put us off coming again. There are too many other good alternatives nearby.

28/03/2024: Cheap all-you-can-eat experience. The restaurant is located in the more exotic part of Ballerup.

11/03/2024: The food gets 4 stars, it's not top of the line at all, but it's super nice and it's good value for money. If you go there expecting high-end sushi, you should probably do a reality check on what you expect for the price. Nice price, nice place, nice food, very satisfied from here! 👍🏼

05/03/2024: Good food, but a place that is tired

15/02/2024: 1 star is high, if I could I would give 0 stars. We had a table at 19. on 14.02, we arrive about 10 minutes before. We are shown our table but we don't see a waiter afterwards. We sit and order our food and drinks. It took approx. 20-30 min before we got our drinks. Then we got 3 warm gyozas and then our patience was put to the test. There were 2 waiters who were mostly not in the restaurant but more in the back room. There was 1 person cooking the food. The tables were not cleared from the guests who left the restuarant, so we wondered what they were so busy with because they were clearly not cooking. You could understand that it was busy in relation to Valentine's Day, BUT the restaurant was not half full and there were not many people who came to pick up take away. There were only a couple who picked up take away were sent away and came back 30 min later to collect their food. Some of the sushi was pre-made and was not in the fridge but in plastic boxes, in the kitchen, which she cut continuously while trying to get the orders out. When we had been waiting for about 60 minutes, we go up and ask when our food is ready, we are told that it is just being made. When they come down with the food, it is not at all what we had ordered and we decide to pay for the drinks and go over and order a pizza at a nearby pizzeria. There were others like us who chose to leave without getting their food and others who bravely waited for their food with much more patience than ours. If you want sushi in Vanløse, I would recommend one of the other good places like Yayami or Umi sushi. But one thing is certain, we will never come back to yaki yaki. 1 hint should probably have been that they sell sunglasses for DKK 20 (very cheap) at the entrance to the restaurant. Then you can always talk about interior design, acoustics, etc., but this is not so relevant in relation to the absurdly bad experience we had here.

13/09/2023: Unfortunately, I think it's a bit boring sushi.. Nothing flashy.
