27/11/2025: The ordering’s so easy peasy! Wait time after ordering was perfect—no dragging. Tons of dish options, and the kids went crazy for ’em. We had an absolute blast that night!

13/11/2025: Not sure about anything. We got "All You Can Eat" and ordered over 2 rounds. The second round took 30 minutes, so I had to ask the waiter if the order went through. 3 minutes later she came with half the order. We weren't the only disappointed customers that day. Another table experienced the same problem as us, and also went up and asked for their order after a long wait... A Take Away customer only got a small part of his large order and had to wait for the rest. Chaos evening. The food was generally good, but maybe made quickly, as some of the fish on my nigiri was almost freezer cold. It's usually good at Izumi Frederiksberg, so I'm very disappointed with Izumi Charlottenlund.

14/03/2026: Really good sushi! Everything tasted fresh and the quality was top notch. The order was ready quickly and the staff was very friendly. One of the best sushi places in Silkeborg – I will definitely come back!

26/10/2025: We ordered all you can eat The sushi was good! However, the various meat sticks were a bit disappointing. It was a bit cold in the restaurant so please bring an extra sweater (maybe it was just that day) Otherwise everything was delicious and it was a good experience

25/10/2025: We arrived 6 minutes early... and were asked to go out and wait outside in the rain with 2 small children with the remark "...can't you see that someone is sitting at the table?" At 4:00 PM we came in and then the QR code didn't work. Then we had to borrow an iPad. Then the food came long before the drinks... after which the food came slowly and not in the quantities we ordered. The birthday flag, which was ordered for the table, had to be picked up by grandma. All the waiters (one offended) looked like someone who didn't want to be there and there was no smile or friendliness. In addition, they lacked knowledge of general hygiene. All in all, a very sad experience that deserves zero stars. But... the food was okay.

11/03/2026: We received a gift card for Oyisi Sushi in Sønderborg, but unfortunately experienced that it was only upon payment that we were informed that we were bound to a fixed menu. This was not clear in the information on the gift card, which was a bit disappointing. We were not interested in the selected menu of 52 items, as we did not like half of the dishes, and it was a shame that the staff was unable to offer a solution or show more friendliness. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we therefore cannot recommend the place. We are disappointed that we ended up having to pay, as we only went there because of the gift card. It felt unfair, especially because we could not choose the menu freely, and it made the experience less pleasant. We had hoped for a better solution or more flexibility when we used the gift card.

09/12/2025: The food was awsome and the drinks were just as good, excellent service from the waiters. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I felt like i could relax comfortably, Only downside i noticed was some of the portion sizes, we ordered peach slices and all we got was 2 slices, as for the desserts, they are small enough to fit on a tablespoon. As a conclusion I would highly recommend going here if your looking for a quality Japanese restaurant

02/03/2026: Fantastically delicious sushi place! 🍣✨ It was almost embarrassing because you simply couldn't stop eating all the delicious food, but when the quality is top-notch and every bite tastes fantastic, it's hard not to. It's not without reason that it's Odder Murerservice's favorite sushi place. When even craftsmen with a sense of quality choose it again and again, you know that the level is truly exceptional. 🙌

28/02/2026: The wait was way too long. I had to go up and get my drinks myself as they were just left at the bar. It took them over 20 minutes to make a rum and coke...and it was even hot to drink. The waitresses were nice, but they had no overview. It took more than 15 minutes before I got a seaweed salad...A SIMPLE SEAWEED SALAD. The rest of the food didn't come until 40 minutes later, and that was even after I made them aware of the wait several times. The tables were way too close together...way too noisy. I'm pretty upset about the whole experience. I would strongly advise against this restaurant.

25/11/2025: I had an absolutely wonderful time at this sushi place. The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxed yet refined — perfect for a nice dinner out. The sushi was incredibly fresh: each piece was beautifully presented, with a great balance of flavors and texture. I especially loved the nigiri — melt-in-your-mouth salmon and perfectly seasoned rice. The service was very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely return — highly recommended!”

08/03/2026: I've been here several times before and the service and food were really good, but yesterday, my boyfriend and I walked out without eating anything. We arrived a bit early and were told we could have a table on the close side as soon as they cleared it. No problem. We were a bit early, so waiting was just fine. They never cleaned the table. Or any table. We and another couple were taken to the other side of the band. We passed several tables with mountains of dirty plates, including some guests still eating. We waited 20 minutes to be seated when they had available seats. When we were finally seated, we were behind a few family with kids, and those kids ran wild around the place, screaming and without shoes. The children had their hands in their mouths and noses, and were reaching into the conveyor, reaching over the belt to food on the other side that was on the way to us to get what they wanted. They were touching the belt and other food. I understand that it's not the restaurant who controls the children, but there needs to be rules to keep guests from contaminating food. Furthermore, there WAS no food. There were some warm "child friendly" things like nuggets and fries, and there were slices of cake, wasabi, and perhaps 2 plates of sushi on the entire belt. We waited at least 10 minutes afer waiting 20 minutes to be seated for the server to come and take our drink orders where I had seen enough to say we wouldn't be ordering and left. I informed them of the cleanliness of the situation. I get that the restaurant is family owned, but there also needs to be a distinction between home and business. The owners' own children were running around and throwing things, and when we left, they had taken a gas torch from the kitchen (we saw him go into the food prep area and take it) and was setting off fireworks right outside the door to the restaurant. They literally had to move aside so we could come out.

28/02/2026: The food is exciting and there is plenty of it. Can recommend both ala carte and running sushi/wok. The restaurant is also extremely family/child friendly The menu occasionally gets new exciting dishes and the restaurant's expression also changes continuously. Nice to see a good place develop positively. You can eat really full when you choose Running sushi - in any case you are not missing out if you are not.
