05/07/2026: We chose the tasting menu with high expectations, but unfortunately this was a big disappointment. Several of the fish dishes smelled old and had a distinct taste of cod liver oil, which gave the impression that the fish was not fresh. The taste was so unpleasant that it ruined the whole experience.
As a Norwegian, I am used to fresh seafood, and this was far below the level I expect - especially at this price. The presentation of the dishes was nice, but it doesn't help much when the quality of the ingredients is not up to par.
Considering the high price level, we expected a first-class dining experience. Instead, we were left with the feeling of having paid a lot for food that did not live up to expectations. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the tasting menu based on this experience.
10/06/2026: Delicious food, fantastic fusion food that surprises every time. Exquisite and well-chosen wine menus.
The only downside is that the restaurant can seem a bit cold especially when it is not full of people

14/11/2025: The food was reasonably good, but it also took them a very long time to serve. There was one dish that took them over 40 minutes to serve, which was poorly planned and disappointed☹️. All in all, recommend, but preferably not around 6-7pm.

27/07/2026: Unfortunately, expected fast lunch in Vejle turned to more than two hours mainly spent on waiting for food. They lost our order first, and then we probably were too patient waiting. After asking about it, they apologised and said we should place a new order, which they will prioritise. However, it again took more than 20 minutes and we needed to go and ask where is food. After we ordered desert and snack, only snack was delivered. We would have ordered more, but simply didn't have more time or patience waiting. Food was okay, but considering waiting time, not worth time or money - sushi was rather very average and too dry.

The food was really delicious and fresh, and there was a large selection, so you could try a little bit of everything. The sushi was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely great.
The service was also really good - the staff were friendly, attentive and quick to take orders. You felt welcome from start to finish.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and relaxed, which made the experience even better.
All in all, a place I can definitely recommend, and I will definitely be back!

01/05/2026: I can judge the food when I got it delivered. And I have never had such a bad Ushi Ramen in my life, the meat tasted really bad and even the base had taken on such a taste. I was about to throw up it tasted so bad.

But too long a wait for take away - you get a time with seconds for when the food will be ready - it doesn't last at all and is exceeded by a time of almost 30 minutes

20/06/2026: We thought the selection was super nice, but the sushi was a bit dry as if it had been on the conveyor belt for too long. It was a hot day, and the cooling on the lower conveyor belt struggled to cool it sufficiently.
Sweet and very competent service.
18/06/2026: I have been here twice and both times the experience was very good. We did the running sushi and it was amazing both times. The staff even said we could suggest what we wanted to have!

27/11/2025: The ordering’s so easy peasy! Wait time after ordering was perfect—no dragging. Tons of dish options, and the kids went crazy for ’em. We had an absolute blast that night!
13/11/2025: Not sure about anything. We got "All You Can Eat" and ordered over 2 rounds. The second round took 30 minutes, so I had to ask the waiter if the order went through. 3 minutes later she came with half the order.
We weren't the only disappointed customers that day. Another table experienced the same problem as us, and also went up and asked for their order after a long wait... A Take Away customer only got a small part of his large order and had to wait for the rest. Chaos evening. The food was generally good, but maybe made quickly, as some of the fish on my nigiri was almost freezer cold. It's usually good at Izumi Frederiksberg, so I'm very disappointed with Izumi Charlottenlund.

11/07/2026: I have always come here and love the food but today my friend and I ate here and it ended up being a disaster! My friend quickly felt sick after eating so we tried to go out and get some air but she ended up throwing up a lot and had a lot of diarrhea…
She finally had to be picked up by her mother in the store because she was so sick
Practice thinking you are going to have delicious sushi and then end up getting shellfish poisoning on top of that
