23/08/2026: We were not impressed with food and service even though the place was recommended to us. The sparkling wine we have ordered was not cold enough and when we complained the sommelier’s answer was that it was held at 5 degrees C and that the bottle was cold (!?). Way too expensive for what we got.
23/08/2026: We had the five-course tasting menu and it was an amazing culinary experience. With each course, they explained what it consisted of and gave recommendations on how to best enjoy it. The staff was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

08/07/2026: We had great starters - corn on the cob, chicken, wings and corn chips with guacamole and salsa. Really enjoyed them. Margaritas were a bit sickly but okay. We were really hungry so eagerly awaited the main course. Came on a platter with everyone’s main at once. The tacos turned out to be two portions each of about 6 cm diameter. Was like a canapé 😆
We left the restaurant feeling really hungry. Couldn’t order more as they said they were closing the kitchen.

24/08/2026: The tacos were excellent. The shrimp taco was the most basic, but still good. A Michelada in a 0.3L glass with ice cubes costs over €10, which is far too expensive, although it tasted good. The service was very friendly and helpful.
23/08/2026: Okay so basically heard a lot about this place myself and my wife. We went there today, around 2/3 pm, we asked the waitress if we can be seated she said she’s fully booked with 6 tables empty and even the bar is fully empty, we said fine, even if we’re quick? She said yes only takeaway. I work in F&B so I was like fair understandable. However, we ordered, our food came, 4 tables left (which were seated) during our 15-20 minute waiting time for the food and she didn’t even give us a seat. None of the bookings came in.
Maybe she’s working alone and she’s busy I can see that, but not to seat us? Like we’re tourists coming to try out authentic Mexican, should’ve been a better service. Nothing against her personally, but against the hospitality of this place.
Could’ve gone worse with the rating but as I said I respect restaurants and don’t want to hurt their ratings, the food is good in conclusion, we barely ordered because it’s takeaway, otherwise our bill would’ve been x2.

13/08/2026: Lovely spot if you love spicy, fresh tacos! The tacos are quite spicy, bordering on too much for the average spicy food lover. Not much space to sit outside and quite a long wait – maybe bad luck with a large group ahead of us. But even so, I am very enthusiastic about the food! Tasty meat, delicious salsas.

It was my first time trying VACA, and I was looking forward to trying something new. I ordered a Protein Bowl, a mini burrito menu with churros, and for dessert pancakes with Nutella and marshmallows.
The Protein Bowl was without a doubt the winner of the day. It tasted good, was fresh, and it worked well both to eat it with a fork and with the accompanying tortilla chips.
Unfortunately, the positive experiences stop there. The Mexican mayo that came with it was very thin and didn't really resemble a mayo. I personally think that a guacamole or a good taco dressing would have been much better.
The mini burrito menu was very anonymous in taste. The burrito had a chewy and almost rubbery tortilla, and the filling didn't make a special impression. In fact, I think the pancake batter used for dessert would have worked better for the children's menu. It was much softer than the tortilla the burrito was made with.
The pancakes with Nutella and marshmallows didn't quite work for me either. They were more like a tortilla with a sweet filling, and it was a bit of a strange taste experience. A really sweet pancake batter would lift the dessert quite a bit in my opinion.
The churros were quite okay, but not something I would go back for either.
All in all, it ends up being 3 out of 5 stars. There is definitely potential, and the Protein Bowl was really nice, but the rest of the meal unfortunately didn't quite live up to expectations. 🙂
18/07/2026: The food tasted great! We got the wrong soda, and they just asked if we wanted it and not if we wanted the right one, (I think they were willing to give us the correct soda, but only at the expense of our conscience).
They were super nice, just not that trained in customer service maybe ❤️
