21/06/2025: The hotel is located 5 minutes drive from the city center. Free parking on the street. There is also paid parking in the underground garage. The rooms are a little outdated. The breakfast is modest.

24/05/2025: We are staying in room 430 - a lovely super room. Very large, very nice and well-maintained. The staff everywhere are very friendly and pleasant. We had a fun dish: 3 pizzas "to share" one day. We cut the pizza with special pizza scissors. Great idea and tasty as a bar dish. Super. MÆÆÆN: Another day we chose fish and chips in the bar. - the pizzas were sold out. - A Saturday?... Scandic in Horsens makes the worst fries we have EVER had. Hard and black and burnt at the ends. PHEW. When complaining to the girl at the bar we got this message: A couple of fries are dark at the ends. I will let it go on, so that it will be fixed... She has not been properly instructed in how to handle a complaint. Black and burnt is also bacon in cubes for breakfast. Watermelon has no water content. Dry as a plastic dish. The breakfast is also quite excellent. Five stars for the hotel and the staff. Thebirkes for the week with crosses and snakes. We deduct two stars for poor bar service, bar food, and burnt bacon. - This should not happen in a modern hotel. Will we come again? Yes, if you haven't gotten angry.

21/02/2025: The food is ok and the service smooth, but only being able to see menus on mobile is not smart. The coverage was poor and it took a long time to get the order through. When we mentioned it, we were told we could stand in the door and order! But we were there, there were 3 older couples walking again. It is not particularly elderly friendly, and not everyone has a mobile phone with them. Thanks for reply. But we couldn't see what to order. Got that we menu cards were online on the app, which we couldn't find at first. But we do like many others, - find another place

07/07/2025: I think the place is really cozy during lunch time. The staff is really friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. You are greeted with a smiling face. The steak is highly recommended. Very delicious☺️

26/06/2025: Nice place for regular family visits. Prices are good and kids got ice cream for free, which was a hit. Very friendly service.

16/03/2025: Do not order food from Torvet's pizza if you are hungry and want something "big" when you order a large one. My girlfriend and I have faithfully ordered from here for several years, but today was simply the last straw! We order a large durum with chilli and garlic. We get a durum that is smaller than the regular one, which I have to unwrap and open myself to stuff the garlic and chili into. Then we also ordered a family pizza, which is completely burnt on the bottom. Also, the last time I ordered a pasta salad, I only got 49 g of pasta (I weighed it) and a lot of salad leaves. Never if I want to order from there again! It is simply far too small.

10/03/2025: It always tastes good and the waiting time is short. The place is newly renovated. There is plenty of space, as there is also a 1st floor.

14/06/2025: The ice machine was broken and the burger was cold, bad experience. My experience is that there is no control over anything, there is cola all over the floor that does not dry up. And 20+ wait a long time for food.

21/02/2025: I can't remember the last time I had such a lousy pizza. The food is swimming in grease, lousy cheese and even lousy ham. There were two of us who got two different pizzas and we just looked at each other and didn't have to say anything, we both knew that meant they were both lousy pizzas. The crust was wet, I don't know how, because there was no pepperoni on it and could be fat from there. We are guaranteed never to return. I called and told them that we didn't like the pizzas, which would otherwise be with our favorite toppings elsewhere. But he didn't care, just as I can read in here that they tend to be if you offer criticism.

19/01/2025: I don't really know Horsens' pizzerias, as I don't live in the city, but this is definitely the best I've had in that city. Got a salad/kebab and the distribution of fillings was quite spot on. However, I would say that the chili flakes were a bit overdone. Now I'm not the type to complain about spicy, but the pizza was completely red with chili. It tasted good, can be preserved, but a little less chili next time :)
