29/03/2025: An older gentleman (co-owner?) sitting collecting pizza boxes at the table next to us took "sneak" photos of my sister and I while we were eating!! Disrespectful and unsanitary!!!

28/03/2025: We ate for the first time here Pasta Carbonarra and was AMAZING!!! the taste, the enough quantity, the way how they were cooked and the price very good! Therefore we recommand and for sure we will come again! 😊

07/04/2025: Der trænger MEGET til rengøring. Maden var ikke lækker. Tapas, der lignede noget et barn havde smidt på, med sammenklistrede pølseskiver, tørre appelsinbåde mv. En anden fik burger med bøf, der smagte underligt - lod det gå ud. Unge mennesker, der serverede uden at sige et ord. Øv.

05/04/2025: Bought a meatlover deeppan pizza, the base was mega thick! Dry and strange in consistency ala some wholemeal dough, . I don't think I've ever had such a bad and dry deep-pan pizza before, and that's despite the fact that both béarnaise and extra cheese were added .. half ended up in the bin

09/05/2025: When the woman at the checkout changed from the customer before to me, she was wearing the same glove. She accepted my cash with the same glove and accepted the next customer without changing gloves. I don't know how long she's had that glove on. There are perhaps a few hygiene problems that could also be addressed. Because it was really disgusting. I like to wait an extra 1-2 minutes for a glove change that hasn't touched cash etc. Warmed my food when I got home to try to avoid the bacteria that had probably gotten on them.

14/02/2025: We had ordered a table by a window for 2, when we arrive we are told that it is first come, first served at such a table and that it was for 4 people. There were empty tables, we could see, so what do they really mean by first come, first serve? Fortunately, we got a good table at Flammen, where it is not first come, first serve....

06/01/2025: We had brunch, excellent, nicely arranged. A bit difficult to find out how to order, it might be an idea for the service when handing out the menu card to tell you to go up to the kitchen to order, so you don't sit and wait for them to take your order at the table.

23/04/2025: We ordered on self-service, 2 big tasty bacon between menu, one burger was missing dressing at one end, fries were very soft, otherwise as it should be. We almost got the food before we had found a table 😊

07/03/2025: Alright so... I've gone to this place twice now. The first time I got a sandwich and it was terrible (Sloppy design and food that tasted not super great), but I chalked it up to "Maybe it was just a bad first experience, no big whoop". Today I ordered a Pad Thai and it was honest to gods the WORST Pad Thai I have ever had. I usually make my own, so I know what it should look like and taste. The noodles were beyond soggy, barely any bell peppers, the sauce was disgustingly sweet, absolutely no kick or spice of any kind, and the onions (For some reason I cannot comprehend) were cooked into the meal, if those gross looking green strands are actually onions. I always give places a second chance to do better, but it was pretty disgusting both times. Weird too when almost every other restaurant or bar in town makes better food by a sizable margin. Never going back to this place, and you probably shouldn't either.

08/04/2025: Remember to avoid this bar if you are coloured. The owner has a specific policy about this.

09/03/2025: My girlfriend and at least 2 other women had a bottle hurled in the head by random people who were standing and threw them hard towards the dance floor. Possibly hoping to knock someone unconscious, I see no basis for this behavior. No guard saw anything and it took 15 minutes before they even went up and looked for the guilty perpetrators. Will never come again.

18/01/2025: We were a party of 20 for brunch, where 2 had unfortunately fallen ill on the day, and you had contacted mcale at opening hours and canceled for these 2. Food and atmosphere were okay, but we are asked to pay full price for the 2 who did not show up and are met with very poor service from the staff in question who insisted on their right to charge for the 2 who did had canceled. After a tedious and in our eyes unnecessary dialogue, we ended up having to pay for one of the 2 guests who had not turned up. I don't think it's fair to charge for 2 guests who have canceled their visit to the restaurant from early in the morning. There is no question of non-attendance, and on the call where it was announced that there were two who could not participate anyway, nothing was mentioned about an extra fee. It ruined the experience for us at mcale.
