10/10/2025: Highly recommended restaurant! The food was top class! Ribeye cooked to perfection as medium-rare/rare, with crispy and golden potatoes and a well-made bearnaise. The service was smiling and pleasant, and there was plenty of time for us.

22/06/2025: Unprofessional staff. They walked around talking about who they would rather be with, they stand with their mobiles and talk over customers who are being served at the checkout. Three employees who do nothing but behave unprofessionally. It was done in such a tone that I now know that one of them would rather be with the department manager at Circle K in Søften.

02/09/2025: Great beer, tasty pasta, friendly people. The dog was given a bowl of water, very thoughtful. Dogs aren't welcome inside, but they are on the patio, which is perfectly manageable, by the way.

02/10/2025: This historic inn is an excellent stop. The rooms in the annex are a bit dated, but functional, clean, and equipped with very comfortable beds. The main building is charming and cozy, and the breakfast is excellent and varied. If you get a chance, have dinner (kitchen open until 8 p.m.). The food is excellent, at fine dining level, and with a varied wine list. The staff is also very friendly.

01/08/2025: We had a wonderful, beautiful, and delicious lunch today that was everything we hoped of a kro experience! Norre Vissing Kro is picturesque from outside and in. The interior is the perfect blend of old and new and the welcome is warm and hospitable. It felt traditional, elevated, cozy, and modern all at the same time. For lunch, you can choose between à la carte or their specials of the day, three distinct dishes served on one plate, in this case a white fish (not sure which but delicious, so I would like to know!) in a mango sauce with frisée and toasted almonds, paella with chicken and mussels (wonderfully seasoned!!!), and a gorgeous piece of veal loin topped with a bit of a spicy ratatouille with a side of truffle dip, sort of like a labneh. Gorgeous food, presentation, and perfectly portioned! In fact I was worried it would be too much food when I heard what it was but it was wisely portioned and I could have eaten heaps of that beautiful paella! This array of dishes is followed by a petite - again perfectly portioned - cheese board with an onion compote and freshly baked bread. The two wines we had were both very good and the Chardonnay with notes of elderflower being a particular standout. The authenticity, purity, and passion are evident in the service, food, and experience. I’d love to go back for the multi-course dinner menu sometime! Oh yes, and thank you for being so sweet and accommodating to our dog! He loved how peaceful it was, plus the guests table next to us gave him their leftover meat. He was also in heaven!

17/08/2025: Some nice tastes but overall not enough food. We all left hungry. I don't eat dairy so my dessert was about three chopped strawberries.

02/10/2025: The slowest and laziest service of the coldest “hot” cocoa I have ever experienced. Not recommended!

27/08/2025: Grabbed 3 pizzas, 1 with cheese and tomato, 1 with pepperoni and artichoke and one with ham and pineapple... The meat tastes old or like it had been frozen for a long time. And a small tray of French fries that tastes like old frying oil

27/07/2025: Thanks for a nice evening on Wednesday. We ordered shooting stars and Wienerschnitzel, both dishes were so good. Yum it tasted good and the service was good. Will definitely recommend the restaurant to others and will come again myself.
