25/01/2025: Ekstremt lidt mad for pengene, samt dårlig service. Fra vi satte os gik der ikke mindre end 25-30 min før vi blev betjent, på trods af at der ikke var travlt, eller fyldt i restauranten. Vi kom af med 1300 kr, og gik derfra uden at være mætte. Min svigerfar måtte hoppe ind til Føtex ved bageren, og købe en sandwich. Ikke imponeret over maden, vi bestilte en topas tallerken, samt en desert pandekage, hertil en kande vand til deling. En saftevand samt en kop kaffe alle sammen. Vi kommer nok ikke igen, desværre.

05/01/2025: We visited Vestermølle at the weekend for the first time, and unfortunately it was a disappointment. The surroundings outside are incredibly beautiful, but as soon as you enter the restaurant, it all falls to the ground. Unfortunately, the decor feels sad and uninspiring, and the food did not live up to expectations at all. All three dishes we got were tasteless and boring. What was supposed to be Bernaise for my Ribeye was simply inedible. It was one of the worst things I have ever been served. The taste was reminiscent of palmine or lard, and it was both rancid and left an unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth for several hours. Maybe we had a bad day or came across a new chef, but regardless, the à la carte restaurant needs a loving hand – both in terms of interior design and cuisine. The only reason we left the restaurant without being enraged was the incredibly skilled waiter who did his best to keep both the kitchen and restaurant in check - an almost impossible task, even for the best waiter. It's a real shame, as the place otherwise has such a good setting for creating a unique and beautiful experience. We will come again another time to see if things have changed.

03/12/2024: Restaurant Vestermølle was a first time experience for me, but definitely not the last time I eat there. The food was really good and the service was nothing negative either. I'm looking forward to seeing it in daylight, but in the dark it was really cozy.
