26/08/2025: Cozy cafe with lovely outdoor seating. I had a delicious toasted rye bread with avocado and shrimp. Also, water beautifully decorated with fruit and berries.

12/07/2025: The view is definitely the best thing about Kafe K We sat down on the terrace with other diners. We had to go up to the cash register ourselves and order and pick up the food. It seems like a cafeteria, even when I asked if they would wipe our table - I was just given a cloth on the tray along with our drinks. The food was nicely decorated, I got tapas - the first course was CEVICHE it didn't taste of anything, neither lime coriander or chili. The other 2 courses were Crispy spring rolls and BRUSCHETTA it tasted okay, My partner got PASTA POMODORO Pasta in tomato sauce, fried vegetables, burrata & fresh basil. It tasted really good but there was parsley on it instead of basil - a bit of a letdown. The young people at the cash register were really nice and smiling - but I wonder if they had been told Not to leave there? There were 3-4 people standing so there should be time for serving and wiping the tables.

29/06/2026: Good sushi, barbarque and all sorts of good Chinese food, and good coffee too..the only downside is the very artificial ice cream dessert.. Here 2 people can eat and drink their fill for about 430kr with dessert and coffee 😉

03/06/2026: Charging weekend prices on Whit Monday is not ok, unless you actually point it out, it is definitely against Danish law. Apart from that, the food was nothing to write home about either, unfortunately. We won't be back...

05/09/2025: Enjoyed fried noodles with beef in a delicious, very flavorful homemade sauce. They are some nice Vietnamese chefs, and the food tastes nothing less than fantastic! HIGHLY recommended and definitely not the first or last time I visit the place 😀

30/04/2026: I've been really excited about this place, but I think they're slacking off a bit. This time I ordered a menu for one person, it seems like it's usually fresher and the wasabi was decidedly dry. Practice, practice, tighten your buttocks and get back to the good and varied quality.

21/12/2025: It's cozy there, except for the huge, tedious stairs.

22/11/2025: Ordered 2 sandwiches and a pasta dish. Considering the price, it was really poor food. The pasta dish was a boring microwave dish that was served lukewarm. Only tasted of oregano. The sandwiches were very small and without much filling, but tasted okay. The staff was incredibly slow to take orders and ignored us to take phone orders instead of serving customers in the store. If the price had been half that, it would have been ok, but for the price it was really poor food. 80,- for such poor, lukewarm microwave pasta is laughable and 79,- for a piece of bread with 2 slices of cold cuts is reprehensible... I won't be going there again...

15/11/2025: Small cozy sandwich bar. The most delicious sandwiches with a large selection of bread, salads and other accessories. It tasted really good. I ordered a sandwich in herb bread with bacon and egg salad, which was a good balance in taste. A place I would like to visit again next time I come to Skanderborg 😊

29/04/2026: I was down to buy dinner. Fantastic service, smiling employee, fast service. Pizza Marster Galten, can only be recommended. Super proud to have it in town 👍😊

13/06/2026: I think the quality has gone down a lot. Overall, the taste has become far too sweet and oversalted. And the last time I ordered "extra vegetables", they just shoveled in more carrots - there was pretty much nothing else. So we don't want to pay those prices for that.

28/05/2026: Edit 2026: had to remove the 5 stars to 3, the food is now served in small portions and the prices are more expensive. Can recommend café rica instead. Original review from 2024 Simply such a cozy and good experience you always get at Kokken og Wokken in Skanderborg. The food is always delicious, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere cozy. I can recommend eating on site rather than ordering takeaway as the food is much tastier when it has not been packaged.
