22/02/2025: Restaurant with good acoustics, food and view. Bought a 3 course menu with wine for DKK 1000 per person. And snacks. And all the wine you could drink. 👍 The food tasted good, it's some good ingredients. And they ask if you want more salmon 👍 I wasn't too keen on the red wine for the menu, a Pinot Noir soil from Bulgaria 2021. 👎 Cava and their white wine were available super delicious with the food 👍 Dishes could well be more exciting, would not say it is a gourmet experience in that area. But at least the taste is there 👍 The place has very good acoustics, pleasant lighting and you sit well in their chairs👍 Very clean and nice👍 The service was good from the waiter's side, he went a lot of wines and was very conversational to the point 👍 Their wine cellar is absolutely insanely good. It is almost completely unique to see so many rare wines in one place👍👍👍 Easy to park outside 👍 The prices are somewhat on the expensive end (DKK 760 for a large steak menu) but they always full house so it must be the right price to eat there 🤔

29/03/2025: Overall the service is okay, but the wait is long. The potatoes that were served were sprinkled with salt and herbs, the dressing was so strong that it should have been informed before ordering.

18/10/2024: WAUW...we bought a delicious kebab salad with many delicious and different ingredients and the finest idea for a pizza called "Volcanic pizza" with 6 types of meat in each bread pocket, salad in the middle as well as fries and 2 types of dressing. A pizza made from a really delicious pizza dough. A great meal at a cheap price. Thank you for surprisingly nice food😋

26/03/2025: We were at Ballast as a staff meeting for work. Ballast has really nice premises right down to the marina in Skive and a great view. The food (smørrebrød) was really good, and the staff did a great job of presenting the food and making sure we had everything we needed. Afterwards we went upstairs to a meeting room with an even better view, where we held the staff meeting itself. Without a doubt the best staff meeting of the year (so far) 😃

24/03/2025: We were there for brunch and were very disappointed with the food. The food was very bland, the only thing that was seasoned were the fries and they were too salty. Otherwise what was supposed to be hot was only lukewarm. The softice was also very tasteless. The atmosphere wasn't that comfortable either. One had the impression that they wanted to squeeze as many people as possible into the room, and the noise level corresponded to that.

10/12/2024: A perfect meal! Some Canadian colleagues recommended this pizzaria/steakhouse to me after they, among other things, ate mexican pizza and meatlover pizza. I myself chose this traditional Slice pizza, which had a delicious balance between rich creaminess from both mozzarella and cheddar, with counterpoint from finely sliced ​​red onions. My pizza was garnished with a stalk of fresh basil and together with the pizza two small bowls of chili flakes and garlic oil were served, and it enhanced the experience further that I could adjust the taste slightly from slice to slice, with the three components. In addition, the service was perfect and very pleasant and I will definitely come back to taste more the next time I come to Skive. There is no parking directly outside the site, but there is plenty of parking around. I highly recommend!
