27/10/2025: Really delicious meal (tartare and fries) and good service :). Looking forward to visiting the place on a summer day where you can sit on the terrace and look out over the water.

24/11/2025: Was at the penguin for Christmas lunch ordered for a staff group and both the food and the service were beyond criticism.
We ordered a menu that was supposed to have included Frikadeller. We never got them and when we complained to the staff, there was no help to be had. The rye bread was crunchy, the tartlets were heated with the filling in, so the tartlet bowls were not crispy. No crispy skin on the roast and the dessert, which was risalamande, there was barely a tablespoon and a half of it for each.. Yes and then it came with very burnt cherry sauce, which was inedible. When we told the staff called them over and told them, we were met with a "Well" and then they left.
It was absolutely not worth the money and the service was really bad.

06/08/2025: We stayed in a safari tent for three nights in August. The campsite had limited facilities and was very quiet. The children loved the playground and the bouncy castle. There was also a bread service. The shower facilities were a bit outdated and basic, but perfectly fine. Everything worked properly.

02/03/2025: Everything was great. Cozy atmosphere. Delicious food. Great staff! The girls are very nice. The only thing missing was some light, quiet music.
26/01/2025: A cozy restaurant. We stopped by in January, and there were seats available. Great view of the water. Prices are in the mid-range, the food is top notch, and the waiters have a twinkle in their eye. We had oysters and Moules frites, and can definitely recommend them both 🙏. They also have meat dishes by the way 😉
We'll be back 😊

08/09/2025: For us in Southern Jutland this was a completely normal restaurant, no big deal
They had a large selection of ice cream and the food selection was OK
It tasted like it should be in the buffet👌🏽
01/09/2025: The restaurant looks unassuming from the outside, but the food is impressive.
The food was delicious, the buffet selection was extensive, and the service was super friendly.
We'd love to come back.

15/06/2025: Probably the worst food I've ever had at a pizzaria. A sausage mix with dry over-fried sausages and a pasta carbonara where the top layer consisted of something that looked like scrambled eggs and cream on the bottom. It did NOT taste good.
