15/09/2023: We were here to try the island's Jomfruhummer. The restaurant is decorated in a maritime and airy, slightly Scandinavian style. For starters we enjoyed lobster soup, smoked salmon tarts and the aforementioned Jomfruhummer. The friendly waitress showed us how to eat the lobster. All three dishes were delicious. Afterwards there was a fried and breaded plaice. Not to forget the greeting from the house: wonderful home-baked bread with salted butter... That was a perfect introduction to the meal. Great recommendation!

10/08/2023: Nice cafe, nice selection of Beer. The chef prepared a giant paella 🥘 when we was there. It looked very good, unfortunately we had other dinner plans
06/08/2023: Absolutely fantastic food in cozy surroundings and with friendly and welcoming service from the staff. VesterØL can clearly be recommended as a destination in itself.

Dejligt værelse med god seng og alt hvad man har brug for (og bøjler i skabet)
Lækker morgenmad .
Jeg spiste en enkelt gang aftensmad, hvilket også var upåklageligt.
Sidst men ikke mindst et meget venligt og serviceminded personale.
Et dejligt ophold som jeg meget gerne vil gentage sammen men min gemal.

29/03/2024: We had the dish of the day which was freshly caught salmon with pasta and hollandaise sauce. It was very delicious. Very large pieces of skinless salmon - well cooked. In addition, a small Czech bitter and two draft beers. Cost price only DKK 358. Very friendly service and fast serving. Waiting time only 15 min.

The ambience is simple but clean. The view of the harbor is beautiful.
We recommend it.
01/08/2023: The fish was good quality but everything else done without any effort. I took the Stjerneskud wich was served on sad toast bread and store bought dressing. For some reason pineapple was in the mix?
My company took the rødspættefilé that was well prepared and tasty but served with potatosallad directly from the bucket. Not pleasant.
Nice location and they clearly have access to good fish but they need to put some more effort into the food. Not recommended
