12/07/2025: We (finally) visited Strandgaarden. Lovely place right in the middle of Henne Strand, good food for both children and adults. Nice service even though it was busy.

06/07/2025: I would like to inform you that you should probably not order ribeye at a fish restaurant that we visited on 4.7.25 at 7:00 p.m. The ribeye was truly the worst thing my husband and I have ever tasted, there was almost no meat in my ribeye that was edible, of course there is something that needs to be cut off on a ribeye, but on mine the meat was filled with a flabby mass and membrane that was completely inedible. Truly disgusting. The potato timbale was also nothing to write home about. I pointed out to the waiter that the meat was of very poor quality, which she did not agree with me, and said she could not help, I did not expect that either. Today I ran to the toilet with a total bad feeling in my stomach. Damn! Worst birthday dinner to date. A truly terrible experience for me and my husband. My grandson got plaice and my daughter got half a lobster, which was as it should be. 6.7.25 I really don't want to bother with the bad food experience anymore, and I don't think that's an answer that suits you. I'm just telling you about my experience, so you have to take the criticism yourself - or as you apparently DON'T. I just want to tell others that if others experience it, they are not alone.🙄

05/07/2025: Our absolute first choice and go-to place to eat when we have something to celebrate or "just" want to treat ourselves. The only place in Kolding (besides Hotel Koldingfjord, which is also highly recommended, by the way) where there are trained waiters - and you can feel it! The experience is just so much better, EVERYTHING is in order, the food is fantastic and there is simply nothing to complain about at all! Add to that a really nice and very varied wine list. Admiralen in Kolding is highly recommended!

05/07/2025: Truly a beautiful and idyllic place. The starter with fish had been given too much but otherwise very tasty. What was on the plate was not presented other than the waiter ordering “sole”. The main course was really good. However, one of us had a very uneven medallion so half was cooked through and the other half was excellent. I can easily come back but then it would definitely have to be to taste the shooting star. I still regret not taking it.

25/07/2025: My wife and I have just (July 10, 2024) been to Overdådig Onsdag. Which has been a sublime experience. 1) The staff has provided a super good service, from the seating to the information level along the way where we were informed about where we had reached on the menu and when they changed from one dish to the next and when there was a "last round". It is a level of service that you only find in a few places. 2) The food was delicious and really well prepared, great praise to the kitchen here from I would especially highlight the creamy fish soup and the summer goat. 3) The premises are bright and beautifully decorated, something that most of all reminds of "New Nordic Style" It will definitely not be the last time we visit Resturant Nordatlanten - Updated August 4, 2024 The brunch buffet is definitely also worth an experience. - Updated August 25, 2025 Shrimp & wine = a fantastic experience in the more difficult art of shrimp, complemented by delicious bread, salad, home-made butter and homemade aioli. I only have one thing to point out: They should ask their guests to remember to change their plates every time they go to the buffet, as it poses a potential health risk that people reuse their plates time and time again.

07/07/2025: En tidslomme som man ikke havde fantasi til at forestille sig kunne eksistere. Maden er så ringe at det føles som en joke, men det er kun prisen. Hold dig langt væk…!

04/07/2025: Desværre en halv kedelig oplevelse, som vi gerne havde været foruden. Maden smagte ok, men var uinspirerende og syntes kun halvt færdig. Da vi næsten er færdige med maden, opdager vi at vi ikke har fået den bestilte vin. Den smagte fint, men det er træls at opdage, efter lidt søgning på nettet, at den vin vi fik, er væsentlig billigere end den bestilte - og vi betalte jo for den dyre!! Desuden blev vi opkrævet for Ramløsa vand, som vi ikke fik. Vi er sikre på at Klinten har de bedste hensigter, de formår bare ikke at indfri dem og vi kan derfor ikke anbefale stedet. Det mest positive var de unge piger i restauranten, som var søde, smilende og meget imødekommende.

09/07/2025: Et hotel er ikke bedre end sin sidste service eller oplevelse! Som tilbagevendende gæst blev 2025 året, hvor en umådelig dårlig kundeservice overgik den ellers høje kvalitet på mad og ophold. Hotellet ligger lige op til lystbådehavnen. I pinsen var der 15 meter fra hotelindgangen placeret et øltelt med høj slagbasmusik, der spillede til efter midnat i højlydt after-skiing stil. Dette blev ikke oplyst forud for bookingen på trods af, at hotellet er bekendt med det faste arrangement. Et luksusophold på et 5-stjernet hotel står i skærende kontrast til ølteltets målgruppe. Efter i første omgang at have henvendt sig til personalet og efterfølgende til hotellets ledelse, må vi konstatere, at de er fuldstændig ligeglade med at indfri vores forventninger om et roligt ophold. Der står på hotellets website: “Vi definerer luksus som ro, diskretion og sublim service med sans for detaljen.” I stedet for blev vi mødt med en uforstående og fra hotellets direktør arrogant kommunikation, som gør, at dette blev det sidste ophold. Det er åbenbart vigtigere at sole sig i de 5 stjerners berømthed end i kundernes tilfredshed.

19/06/2025: En fantastisk hotel og madoplevelse i skønne omgivelser. Vi nød et gourmetophold her. Kvalitet og oplevelserne her var på langt højere niveau end den betalte pris Alt gik op i en højere enhed, bestilling, information, reception, personale, hotellet og ikke mindst restauranten med fremragende mad og vine. Endda vejret havde de arrangeret godt. Det er absolut ikke sidste sidste gang vi kommer her

12/08/2025: We ate here again after two years and were always impressed. A two-course meal, super crisp vegetables, great fish, and delicious sauce!

05/08/2025: We went here for lunch and ate at the terrace. Nice surroundings. Staff is friendly. We had a salad and burger, tasted great! Quite pricey but worth it.

28/07/2025: Insanely delicious food, never been disappointed. Was there on a rainy day, still cozy. If you are in Bogense it is a must try.

26/07/2025: As always when we visit, really good lunch buffet, with lots of fish in all forms. Friendly and smiling staff and a buffet that is constantly replenished if anything is missing. Can highly recommend the place for both adults and children. And then the location right next to Bogense harbor. Will come again as always during the summer. Remember to book a table just in case there are always a lot of guests here.

19/07/2025: Really delicious restaurant with a wildly beautiful view. The food comes quickly or as needed (if you want this) so the service is top notch. They explain what you are eating and the food is very particular. I got a 4 course meal to taste as much as possible, but I am surprised that this year there was veal on the menu and not just fish. Otherwise I remember the restaurant as a purely fish restaurant. If there are many guests, the noise can unfortunately be a bit loud and seem a bit overwhelming to some. A nice little detail is that you can thank the chef (if you want) for well-prepared gourmet food, as he himself comes down to the table..

01/08/2025: After 2 hours of waiting and my food finally came, the fish was still raw. They said it would be 8 minutes before a new one was ready, 20 minutes later we got up and left without it having arrived yet. Under all criticism!!! The only one who really got anything was my friend who ordered pork, this came but was dried out and boring. I can never recommend anyone to eat at this horrible place! Price, service and food are completely off!! For God's sake find another place. PS. We ended up paying for it all.

01/08/2025: We will not be back! Bad service, poor coordination and food far below the level you would expect for the price. Based on good reviews, a nice menu and a welcome where we were made to feel welcome, it started with high expectations. Unfortunately, it all ended as an avalanche of disappointments, with every moment only dragging the experience down further. Our order is taken relatively quickly, after which the drinks arrive. But after that we have to wait 50 minutes for the starter to be served. During the starter we overhear the waiter say to one of the other tables that the kitchen is busy and that there will be a bit of a wait for the food. The starter actually tastes great, so we decided to wait and hope that the main course would improve the overall impression. The wait continued and in the meantime the conversation among the tables about the poor service went on. Some even waited 40 minutes to be allowed to order. Another hour passed before the main course was served. The potatoes are only partially cooked, the pork is dry as cardboard and the beef fillet is tasteless. The amount of potatoes and gravy is so minimal that it would barely satisfy a child. We therefore ask relatively quickly for a refill, as the waiter had previously made us aware that this was not a problem. However, the so-called refill would quickly turn out to be a complete joke, as the waiter returns with a bowl of a maximum of 150-200g of potatoes and the equivalent of one and a half tablespoons of gravy. This was intended to satisfy 3 adults… A little over 2 hours have passed, one half of the party has finished eating, while the rest of the party has not yet received their food. We therefore choose to get up and leave, as our patience has been exhausted. There is no apology from the staff, just an indifferent comment such as “we are busy in the kitchen” followed by a negotiation about the price of a decidedly poor and inadequate meal. To top it all off, the staff went around vaping e-cigarettes for the guests to see, which just underlined the general level of indifference and disrespect. All in all, a huge disappointment and a waste of time and money…
