08/03/2025: Below average experience. Effe (I assume) was very kind, and service was swift. The location is alright but nothing special. However, the food was simply horribly bland. Not enough cheese or dressing on the pizza, and the toppings didn't taste like anything really. Unfortunately disappointing.

24/11/2025: I get sour and disgusting cakes every time I order cakes. Unfortunately I think there is something disgusting where they are made. I have experienced it several times, the first time a rum ball that was wet and smelled of sour cheese and now a potato cake with a cream that is completely sour 🤢
13/09/2025: Nice pastries and cakes with good taste, but French bread and breakfast bread have no taste, it's just bland bread and doesn't smell of anything, I am a trained chef and waiter, have had 3 restaurants and royal head pastry chef Gert Sørensen at the hotel and restaurant school, but it's probably me who doesn't understand bread. May you all have a good day. 😃😎

Restaurant Strandparken

16/10/2025: We went to Dinning Weekend, where the food was miserable to say the least. The starter was incredibly salty. I think the chef had dropped the salt shaker. The main course was boring and the side dishes boring. The dessert tasted good, but the service boring.
The staff was very polite.
So we won't be going there again.
19/08/2025: I went on a weekday evening just past 6pm. The waitstaff understood English well, checking my understanding of how the menu worked. The portions are small, with the intention you build your own courses or select the chef's choice. I chose the latter for the meal but hand selected a Chardonnay from the menu for drink.
Overall a lovely, quiet, atmosphere with a gorgeous view of the Holbaek Fjord both from the outdoor seating and large westward bay windows giving natural light into the sunset.
The chosen wine by myself was a light, sweet, inoffensive Gorgée de Soleil, Chardonnay 2024. The hostess did confirm that that it would pair well with the meals which was lovely.
Starter was Asparagus, cream, garden greens, vinaigrette and trout Roe. Beautifully plated, with the smoked cheese cream balancing the tartness and saltines from the roe.
The provided Bread made in-house Lovely with an airy crumb and a gorgeous crust topped with herbs. The butter was whipped which is always a pleasant attention to detail.
The second course has some lovely caramelization on the artichokes with a citrusy Ramson pesto acting as a lovely transition to the third course.
Third was a breaded sirloin steak, topped with pearl onions, pickled red cabbage and corn and laid on a bed of Julienned carrot, zucchini, and parsnip.
Desert was a light, tart rhubarb purée. The sweetness of the crumble and crème fraîche is lovely.

Café Le Fiesta

21/11/2025: We were on the go and just needed to have some lunch in the easiest way possible. Didn't expect the biggest thing from a fast food joint that is right next to a supermarket. The food was really good. We all three got a kebab menu and all three thought the food was very tasty. The guy who cooked the food offered us chili sauce, and then came over with a bowl so we could add it to taste. We all three would like to go by and eat exactly the same thing again.
31/07/2025: Café Le Fiesta should consider changing its name to Café Le Fiasko.
I visited the place to eat a pizza, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I have ever had.
I had ordered a calzone with cheese and ham. Halfway through the pizza, I suddenly tasted something strange. When I looked closer, I noticed something black and sticky inside the pizza – something that definitely did not belong. I went to the pizza man to point it out, but instead of investigating the matter or apologizing, he immediately started defending himself, saying that it was probably just “burnt bread” or “burnt mushrooms” – which is strange, since the pizza did not contain any mushrooms at all.
Shortly after, another employee intervened and said in a very condescending tone: “You have eaten half of it and then you come and complain?” and went on to say that they serve the same pizza 10 times a day without any problems. No responsibility, no desire to understand or correct the mistake. Just arrogance.
To top it all off, when I was about to take my jacket off, I noticed that there were cobwebs hanging in the corner where I had been sitting. When I mentioned it, I was simply told, “No customers usually sit there.” – as if that were a valid excuse for not cleaning.
The whole experience gave me the impression that customer service and hygiene are not taken seriously here. You don’t feel welcome – only as a nuisance if you point anything out.
I will definitely never come back – and I won’t recommend it to anyone.
