28/11/2025: Old and not up to standard at all, very poor breakfast and extremely poor service, where the employees speak poor English, with Eastern European flair, the dishes are quickly emptied at this artisan hotel, which is mainly filled with people in dirty work clothes. It takes a much longer time than usual, after several requests, before it is refilled. There are two coffee machines with different products, however they do not work, or are emptied..! Their ginger shots are too old...! There are very few TV channels, there is no wallpaper on the walls, however, they are just painted over where it is missing, the beds are low and the furniture very old and fragile..! Very cheap and bad hairdryer, poor selection of soap, no conditioner., inappropriate lighting in the room..! people stand and smoke right outside the entrance, which makes the smoke seep in...!

09/11/2025: A worn out hotel from the past. Details like a TV hanging crookedly, a lamp that doesn't work, lack of ventilation and charging electric cars at exorbitant prices show that the hotel is past its glory days. There is little positive to highlight for the hotel itself and the services. All in all, the absolute minimum of what one can expect. Breakfast and service are probably the only things that can be highlighted as above the minimum expected. After sleeping in well over 100 hotels in all price ranges, I would recommend looking for other options if you want something other than a bed to sleep in for the night.

23/10/2025: Average Chinese restaurant, on the sad side. The selection of sushi is very boring. The selection in the buffet is like most Chinese buffets. The ice cream is watery and boring. At first glance it is not a great culinary experience and it is also not possible to enjoy a Faxe kondi with the food... And speaking of soda, I also think it should be mentioned that there was not much fizzy water in the soda. I don't know if it is because it is tapped from the tap (=soda with fizzy water), but I could imagine that is the reason.

06/12/2025: An authentic small restaurant without a buffet, but offering all you can eat at the chef's own pace for 249kr. The empty premises adorned with plastic flowers and LED lights are filled with both goldfish in a murky aquarium and a gas heater on the floor. The food is ok, but sushi is definitely better. The price is probably set a bit too high for what you get. It is on par with a good steakhouse or other "all you can eat" sushi places. However, dessert and coffee are usually included. Here you get what you order on the menu, except for the dishes that the chef forgets or doesn't have time for. The service is nice and friendly, but be patient with your orders. The food doesn't come all at once, but continuously as it is prepared. Remember that you have to be out after 2 hours and 10 minutes! We only managed to order once, which is why the meaning of all-you-can-eat evaporated a bit. My recommendation would therefore be to order a la carte. That way you will probably get a better experience for half the price, and possibly be served at the same time.

08/09/2025: The food was very good 👍 and tasted great! The owner doesn't speak German, and we barely speak English, but ordering still went smoothly 👍 👌! The Bubel tea is delicious 😋 very nice and large restroom!🫡

05/09/2025: We just wanted to have a drink. Card payments are not possible (in Denmark???). They were happy to accept euros. The conversion resulted in a much too high amount. After we calculated on our mobile phone that this amount couldn't be right (conversion factor 4 instead of 7.5), they apologised. This leaves a very bad taste in the mouth, considering how many holidaymakers are subjected to this ‘practice’ who may not yet have a feel for the conversion at the beginning of their trip. 11/12/2025: For the last 7 years, we have been coming regularly. Primarily always ordering the same thing after they got a new chef, the dishes we used to have been changed, but not adjusted in their menu. So you expect to get the usual, but end up with something different and a completely different price than what was on the menu. The last time we were there we found mussel shells in one of the dishes, which ruined our appetite quite a bit. Not just one piece was found but five pieces. Didn't eat any more after that. The owner was contacted, where he said it was incredible that we could find it because they only used canned mussels. Full price was paid and more than what we had expected, based on the prices on the menu. We will take a very long break from here, if we ever return

02/11/2025: It took over an hour to get our food and it was even wrong, when we finally got the correct order the pizza was half raw. Can't recommend this place to anyone. Nothing was in order this evening.

15/10/2025: Café Flintehuset is a snack bar serving ice cream. I enjoyed the ice cream. The prices are reasonable. You can also pay by card.

06/09/2025: Nice place, but it took 45 minutes + 10 minutes in line to order a "sandwich" with vegetables and (cooked) chicken. It doesn't taste good, and is completely soggy - couldn't even eat it without cutlery because the bread is wet. And it cost 155 minus drinks... Go somewhere else in the park, at least.

09/09/2025: Absolutely terrible place, got kicked out because I ordered a family pizza, and apparently you're not allowed to eat that there, and we weren't told that before we ordered, and so when I ask why, the guy says that's just the way it is, and those are the rules.

02/09/2025: We called and ordered in advance and still had to wait more than 20 minutes for our food, which is grossly overpriced. They didn't apologize, "that's just the way it is"

11/09/2025: A schnitzel for €39 (!!!) in this musty 80s atmosphere is simply unacceptable. We left.

08/08/2025: No experience with the rooms, but we ate here. We ordered steak and were given a pork belly. This was definitely not beef, see photos. We also ordered schnitzel. I've had better schnitzel at the football club, where I paid €2 for it compared to the €39 here. Not worth it.

21/08/2025: Really sad as everything is closed and only 3-4 SHOPS are open in the entire main street in Rødby. Big ghost town.

27/07/2025: The food (burger menu no. 1) came without a drink, even though it was listed on the menu. This was ignored, and the customer was asked to pay. The woman behind the counter was arguing loudly with her daughter the entire time. All in all, I'd say if you want better food, go somewhere else.

17/06/2025: Lovely large outdoor terrace with good shade and good furniture to sit in. The portions were of a good size we had beef tenderloin with fries and bearnaise. Reasonable prices.
