11/09/2025: A schnitzel for €39 (!!!) in this musty 80s atmosphere is simply unacceptable. We left.

08/08/2025: No experience with the rooms, but we ate here. We ordered steak and were given a pork belly. This was definitely not beef, see photos. We also ordered schnitzel. I've had better schnitzel at the football club, where I paid €2 for it compared to the €39 here. Not worth it.

09/09/2025: We ordered two salad pizzas for 80kr each with lunch specials. The pizzas were a 6/10 in the taste register and did what they were supposed to. There really is no contact with the waiters or anything. You get cutlery and food thrown on the table and then they go away. The place itself is a bit nice in some places and very run down in other places. The toilet looks like something out of place. 3/5 and that's being polite.

30/08/2025: We had booked a table for a funeral for my father 5 days in advance. Even so, we had to write down our orders ourselves and hand them in at the bar. It took over an hour for the drinks to arrive, and only after 2.5 hours had everyone had their food, as they kept forgetting something – the last one to get food was the youngest child, aged 5. When we wanted to talk to the owner about a price reduction, we were met with a wry smile and "full price". I got angry. He shouted loudly, waved his arms so that glasses fell to the floor, and refused to speak to the women in the party. A completely unacceptable experience – I have never experienced anything like it.

16/07/2025: Made a mistake and picked the Ceasar salad based on the menu pictures here on Google Maps. They have apparently changed it drastically and now it’s just iceberg lettuce (as the ONLY salad component), store-bought croutons and cold, breaded and deep fried chicken and a bit of salty cheese. It was horrible. The only reason I did not complain is because of the extremely long queue. Somehow it’s a surprise to Knuthenborg that it’s summer vacation and so they have not ramped up their service to match the amount of guests. Sad. Only reason I’m giving two stars is because the wild boar sandwich looked pretty decent and the orangery was cosy.

29/06/2025: Update. New owner. New menu on the ice cream menu. It needs to be tested. It's Sunday at 1530. The sun is high. Yes, it's windy. There are people on the beach. All good. The ice cream menu has been updated with a lot of fun ice cream. Which unfortunately wasn't available. Whether it hadn't arrived or was simply sold out, the story doesn't say anything about it. Very new girl to serve. She probably should have had a training shift or 2 more. When half of the advertised ice creams were not available. So no ice cream for me. The better half and the kid each ordered a medium soft ice cream for 40 kr. A piece. It's always a discussion about price and size here. Meereeen it was on the very small side. Sprinkle 9 kr extra. See picture. It's probably the most expensive sprinkle I've invested in. 🤣 We were going to stop by and have an ice cream in their ice cream kiosk. It was a boring experience. The soft ice cream machine was down. That's what can happen. But then I think you've grown tired of regular ice cream. Here there were 5 sad varieties to choose from. And you had to scrape the sides to get the ice cream out. 2 girls at the kiosk. And I think they were afraid to serve. One stood and watched what the other was doing. Not encouraging. We chose to drive away again without buying anything.

27/07/2025: The food (burger menu no. 1) came without a drink, even though it was listed on the menu. This was ignored, and the customer was asked to pay. The woman behind the counter was arguing loudly with her daughter the entire time. All in all, I'd say if you want better food, go somewhere else.

17/06/2025: Lovely large outdoor terrace with good shade and good furniture to sit in. The portions were of a good size we had beef tenderloin with fries and bearnaise. Reasonable prices.

09/09/2025: Absolutely terrible place, got kicked out because I ordered a family pizza, and apparently you're not allowed to eat that there, and we weren't told that before we ordered, and so when I ask why, the guy says that's just the way it is, and those are the rules.

02/09/2025: We called and ordered in advance and still had to wait more than 20 minutes for our food, which is grossly overpriced. They didn't apologize, "that's just the way it is"

20/10/2025: Very angry older man takes orders, he can't smile, he's good at whining, at least not service-minded. The food is as expected at a "hot dog stand". Won't go there again because of the angry man.

08/10/2025: Crazy expensive grill, not good food!! Go for Mac d, you know what that is

05/12/2024: This is the first time we have had pizza from here, but definitely not the last time. It has been a long time since we have had such delicious pizzas. 03/11/2024: Really delicious Dürum roll. Nothing was spared. Lots of kebabs, salad and dressing.

29/09/2025: Ordered my last meal with my mom, a few days before from you guys brought it out, she got some pasta and me a strong one and watched a good movie and laughed ❤️❤️❤️
