07/06/2026: A nice location and hotel on the calm sea with a nice little beach. A good spot if you’re visiting the safari park nearby. Rooms are fine but my wife suffers from dust allergy which kicked in within minutes of entering the room. Restaurant is fine. The food is a bit out of the 90’s style and quite frankly overpriced. A nice spot to visit if you’re passing through.

23/07/2026: Went for the fish buffet and was greatly disappointed. Small selection, bland tasting. Overall really unimpressed, especially at 469dkk per person. I've had twice the experience at half the price. Go for the a la carte menu instead. Staff was great.

03/10/2026: Cappuccino with oat milk and espresso is really expensive (90 DKK / €12). Unfortunately, there are no vegan cakes, even though there are so many. What a shame!

26/09/2026: I have visited you regularly for the past 6 years. However, the quality of several of your products has declined considerably in the past year. The size of, for example, the potato cakes has halved in 2 years, rhubarb horns and alphorns have less stuffing in them. So in addition to a general price increase of 50-60% in 4 years, the quality has unfortunately not kept up with the price increase. I understand the general price increase in raw materials and wages, but I think that there has been a mismatch during the period. I now prefer to drive twice as far to buy from Sakskøbing Hotel and Bageren in Nysted. I mentioned the size of the potato cakes about a month ago to one of the employees, who almost counterattacked. I took the liberty of asking if other customers had commented on the size - in a non-offensive way - but more of a surprise/curiosity. The answer was: "That's how our baker makes them now!" That in itself was an unfortunate way to respond. It could have been smart if I had been met with a; "No, no one has actually commented, but I will pass on your feedback to our baker/our management". The reason the review still gets a 3 is that your rolls and various breads are actually reasonable. I hope that with this review you will ensure a more gentle reception of criticism - and hopefully improve your cakes. I would not be upset to pay 45-50 kr for a potato cake if the quality - and uniformity were greater and higher.

29/07/2025: My daughter and I have visited the place a few times and have been very satisfied with everything.

26/07/2025: We spent a night in Rødby after taking the ferry and went here to grab a pizza because we were hungry. It turned out to be a really delicious pizza for a very good price. The man at the counter was also very friendly.

16/07/2026: We have eaten buffet here several times, and have been very satisfied. Large selection and tasted good. This time unfortunately a couple of dishes were missing so I couldn't find anything to eat. Great with gloves and alcohol at the buffet. Soda from dispenser, good with carbonation. Unfortunately a bit slow to refill when something was empty, and no one ever cleared the table during the meal or asked if we wanted more drinks.

16/07/2026: We had a takeaway. Super good food and lovely service.

16/08/2026: Best pizza in the area - and maybe one of the better pizzas I've eaten to date. Really good dough and base. Despite a pizza with lots of meat and filling, the dough was not soggy and the pizza trays were not smeared with grease. The Bearnaise pizza and the salad pizza were really delicious. The place supposedly sets a standard for chicken on pizza - yum! It's a smaller local pizza place which may have been the reason for a little extra waiting time - especially at 7pm in the evening. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait. If you're in this area, this is the place to experience good takeaway. Thanks for the food!

19/07/2026: A completely fantastic experience.. So much service-minded staff that others can learn from. Many thanks for the really delicious pizzas & thank you for making it possible despite being so busy. This is not the last time I drive from Maribo to Venice in Rødby & buy food. Thank you for you.
