15/05/2026: Had a stay with dinner. The room was in the Kridthuset and not flashy. The food and service at the inn was top notch, and wonderful to have a lovely breakfast with you view of the sea.
15/05/2026: Got 2 sandwiches with a view of the cliff and the water. Perfect fish fillet and good and fast service. We will come again

16/07/2026: We were there as a birthday party.
There were several of us that day. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. The weather was good. So some were out enjoying nature.
And we were there again that day. 2/7 2026.
This time also for a family get-together. 9 people. This time we were not disappointed either.
The food was plentiful and the owners/chef were out several times to see if anything was missing, which they certainly weren't.
So my 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere are well spent.
There weren't many that day. But those who were also seemed to be enjoying the day despite the rain.

09/06/2026: Got a gift certificate from the family, so there were 4 of us. Delicious food, cozy place. Beautiful scenery and even a party room, we got to see

09/06/2026: Very warm and kind service. I came by late in the evening and they were fully booked for a private event, but very kindly took me in and served me an excellent glass of red wine. I already wanted to return to Store Heddinge for a longer trip, but I think I'll be booking my stay around Cafe Algade's dinner availabilities!
23/05/2026: There was a closed party but when we drove far after mabs who wrote that it was open it's not a place I'll go to anymore

28/06/2026: While the view is stunning, at least on a summer evening this is not a place to go with little child. Placing our order took 15 minutes, drinks another 12 the food was ready 50 minutes later. We asked if we could get the childrens dinner early, got a nod, but the food ultimately arrived with everything else. When we got to see them, the personnel was nice, but thats about it.
28/06/2026: Midsummer's Eve.
Good food, live music with a bonfire.
Fantastic evening.
Many thanks to the staff for their efforts in making everyone happy.

29/09/2025: Flabby/arrogant staff so I didn't eat here.
Parking next door costs 50kr but they advertise that if you buy something here, you get it for free. I asked if I could buy a cup of coffee and pay extra (50kr) for it, to which the staff (woman, name unknown) flabbyly replied that “as it says on the sign you MUST buy coffee and cake as a minimum”. She said a few more sentences in the same vein and had an arrogant attitude, even though I politely replied “ah okay I didn't see that on the sign”. Sick of people rubbing salt in the wound.
Went outside and read the sign again - NOWHERE does it say that you MUST buy coffee and cake (for 75kr) as a minimum. Just standing there as a guest and coffee costs 42kr. Because of her attitude she wasn't worth the trouble even though she was wrong. Judge for yourself, see the pictures. I'm staying away! You can stay for free 5 minutes walk away
26/09/2025: We arrived at the weekend and saw their buffet. Wow, it was a really good experience. There was a good atmosphere and the place was almost full, already at opening time. However, we asked if it was possible to sit outside in the sunny weather, which they were nice and accommodating to. Very soon after, the table was set for us. The food was really good - Danish, good, warm dishes, as well as delicious and fresh salads. Especially the one with strawberries and lemon balm. Definitely worth the money.

16/06/2026: I have shopped at Viking Pizza many times now, fantastic food and good service. However, it is just odd that today at 12 o'clock I ordered a durum without dressing and it also came home with it and it was full of dressing after having said 3 times that it should be without dressing.
09/06/2026: Delicious tuna salad. Can be recommended.

15/07/2026: The staffs were very rude to begin with. As I entered they wouldn’t even look at or greet me. Didn’t even got to order my food because they got pissed off that I spoke Norwegian and English to them, but they still couldn’t understand. Had a very nice Dane translate my order to them (they were all foreigners of Arab descent), but still they were very rude and not welcoming at all. Had to leave without food. Didn’t thought the worst experience I would have in Denmark as a tourist would be from foreigners.. Hence I’m foreigner myself.

10/12/2025: Tiny little place but always good food and you leave with a smile on your face.
09/11/2025: They cheat with the meat, their so called home made burger is the cheapest disgusting defrosted meat from the freezer, damn how it tastes, the wife and I took 2 bites and threw the rest out. Never buy any burger there….
