03/11/2024: When you arrive at this nice Café you do not only feel like a guest, but soon like an old friend. Such great hospitality, such warmth! The setting feels like a living-/dining room at home. Come with the kids and play games while you wait for your food. We came on a Friday night without a reservation (group of 6) and were not sent away. Dinner was great! The personal interaction with the owner and team was fun and special !!

21/10/2024: The best shooting star I've tasted 😍 and I've tasted many. So inviting, crispy fish fillet and bread, delicious dressing and lots of prawns 🍤 Very cozy place and the nicest staff. Can be highly recommended 👍😍

19/10/2024: We had booked a table for 4 on Friday evening and were received by a very nice waitress who directed us to a good table. The restaurant is surprisingly cozy inside compared to the building from the outside. Very pleasant atmosphere. We started with country ham and shrimp cocktail. The country ham came with delicious bread and a good pesto mayo. There were only 4 pieces of ham, perhaps on the narrow side for 125 kroner. Then came the steaks with plenty of side dishes and a good sour béarnaise in copious amounts. The steaks start at "ladies' size" 200 grams "men's size" 300 grams and then it's viking etc. Jens Hansen is not subject to the big city's woke anarchy and that is a liberation. The steak is from a cut with almost no fat, which in my view is a bit of a shame as a lot of flavor is lost with that choice and a steak of 300 grams can seem substantial when it is compressed meat. But my wife was very happy with that choice, so it's a matter of taste. Jens Hansen came and flambéed our pancakes at the table with plenty of cognac and cointreau - so delicious with his homemade ice cream. Would love to come again

16/11/2024: Cozy inn and bathing hotel with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea and Stevns Klint. Good and relaxing atmosphere. Really good and friendly service from arrival to departure. Getaway stay. Afternoon coffee with cake in the fireplace room. Three courses with wine menu. Good raw materials. Perfectly prepared butter-fried longines for the main course. Nicely balanced dessert. Wines well matched to the food. The wines reflect the reasonable price and there was friendly refilling of the glasses between courses.

25/09/2024: Celebrated my 70th birthday at this lovely place. 22 people with a buffet followed by coffee and apple cake. The food was really good. The service was fine. As it was the hottest day of the year, I asked for a few jugs of water on the table - for a fee, of course -. I couldn't get that, but I could buy bottled spring water. So 10 bottles of spring water for DKK 39.00 per piece above the bill. Now I don't think that's quite right when I come with a company of 22 people for food, drink, coffee and cake. It was only because of the intense heat that water was ordered. A little conduit here would be in order. I am hugely disappointed by that. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
