26/07/2026: A most charming place. Tasty food, comfy atmosphere, and a most wonderful host making you feel welcomed for every second of your stay. A playing corner for the kids made it a wholesome experience as we could enjoy our meal while our son could also enjoy the food and explore the toys without being tied to the table. A great place.

23/07/2026: Stopped here on the way to Stevns Klint for a quick lunch, and it almost became the highlight of the day! Tasty food, super friendly service, and cozy decor with all second-hand items and furniture. Highly recommended!!

15/05/2026: Had a stay with dinner. The room was in the Kridthuset and not flashy. The food and service at the inn was top notch, and wonderful to have a lovely breakfast with you view of the sea.

16/08/2026: Arrive early to slowly savor the lunch buffet (until 3 p.m.)—from herring in various ways to baked ham—and still have time for dessert (until 4 p.m.). Choose a clear day and you'll have a view of Ørebro and the entire bay.

07/09/2026: As the wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of being part of a beautiful wedding celebration at Café Algade in Store Heddinge, Denmark\. The venue is beautiful, with an elegant Baroque\-style atmosphere and a warm, welcoming feeling\. Emmanouil (The Owner ) was incredibly kind, helpful, attentive and hospitable throughout the celebration, making the newly married couple and their guests feel very comfortable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the entire staff contributed to the warm and professional service. It was a pleasure to photograph such a special day in such a beautiful setting. A wonderful place for weddings and other special occasions. Highly recommended. Svetlana Solvason

05/09/2026: We only stopped for coffee as the restaurant wasn’t yet open when we rolled into town with our bikes. The owner is quite particular about proper dress and cycling apparel gets you into the lovely back room. The coffee - in our case flat whites, was absolutely delicious. By far the best that we had in Denmark. We chatted with the owner about the coffee and his policy on proper clothing; he let us know that even Tadej Pogaçar and his UCI teammates had to sit in the back room when they rolled in. If you are a cyclist and enjoy good coffee this is a can’t miss. If you plan your visit, I expect that the lunch offering would also be up to snuff.

25/05/2026: Only ate at the inn. Fantastic experience. Very delicious food and the juice menu was also very good. Would recommend it to everyone I know.
