It has NOTHING to do with rice.
If you think so, then it’s not the customer who misunderstood, but the kitchen… and maybe you should look in a cookbook before you write the menu.”
03/10/2025: On Wolt you can order penne alla asia.
The menu says penne prepared with beef and vegetables..
But they make rice, not penne. When you explain to them what penne is, they just become rude. I am told in a very sour tone "It's you who ordered fokert!."
I first asked them to google penne so they could see what it is, when he continued to be rude I couldn't keep up the good tone myself, and unfortunately also became rude back. Which I shouldn't have but simply couldn't take it anymore.
Be careful if you say they are wrong, then the nice people become rude people.
In case the menu is updated and they write rice later, I just took a picture of the menu.

29/10/2024: This place is already closed! We booked the place a month in advance. The day when we were supposed to check in, we received the confirmation message via Booking.com about how ready they are to receive us (i guess this was automated) but 20 mins before we arrived after a looooong drive, the hotel message us again that they are bankrupt and no longer in operation for weeks! Google, take this advertisement now!
20/10/2024: Booked a room one month in advance for end of September, got a confirmation of bankruptcy the day before, only after I reached out to ask for specific amenities in the room.

05/08/2025: Ordered and paid online when it looked like the place was open
Never got an order confirmation, drove out to pick up the pizzas anyway. The place was completely closed with paper on the windows.
The money was of course taken. Can't get in touch with the owners despite many attempts 😡🤬
21/07/2025: Ordered online - for pickup and when we arrived it was closed! There was NOTHING online about it being closed! And we paid online!
That's VERY bad!

11/07/2025: We got 2 burgers and it wasn't exactly anything to shout hooray for..mega dry burger bun, which was complained about. We did get a different kind of bun and were told that there were a lot of people who really loved that burger bun..you couldn't even cut into them it was so hard and dry. Our cokes also didn't have much fizz. And we also waited quite a long time for the food.
We definitely won't be back.
08/07/2025: We had to try Café Kridt again, just like in the good old days. The food was good and the service was quick and sweet, but it wasn't so nice to eat with a view of a very dirty floor and dead flies on the windowsills. There were crumbs on a table next to us and the chairs were dented, and during the hour we were there, the table wasn't made ready for new customers despite the fact that there seemed to be time for it (there were guests at 4-5 tables).
The atmosphere is not so cozy, and it seems messy with the many different styles.

12/03/2025: Det mest beskidte og uorganiserede cafeterie. Ingen ved hvad den anden laver. Bøffen i cheeseburger er sammenpresset kød. Kolde pølser og dårligt stegte fiskefilet og pommesfrites.
Betaling for toilet besøg. Og ubehøvlet medarbejder. Tag det næste spisested og undgå årslev motorvejs cafeterie.

09/08/2024: As an Aarhusian, you rarely come to Rødekro, depending on who you are of course :-) - but this was a successful experience beyond all expectations, the reviews that were here in advance gave evidence that the place was popular and that good food was served, and it must be said that it did, in the time we were eating alone, between 25-30 people came to pick up food or eat it "in house", if you are hungry and looking for a good place to eat, then Rødekro is Chinese Grill the place!

Rødekro Kina Grill is temporarily closed due to illness and it is unknown when it will open again.
01/08/2024: Top from here always go delicious food lovely service and always nice. And ABSOLUTELY NO weird opening hours. Where is the empathy towards you who complains. Get well from here.

09/03/2025: Vinen var god, og masser af postevand, uden extra beregning. Maden var virkelig virkelig trist, køkkenet burde have meldt udsolgt for kalvekød, grøntsager og grove pommes frites og kun solgt burgere. Det havde været helt ok en søndag aften.
09/03/2025: Rigtig hyggeligt spisested, Betjeningen var fremragende.
Mad var lækker og velsmagende
Øllene var perfekte
Musikken måske en lille smule for højt
