20/03/2026: Incredible for the price we paid (although we were in the low season.) Clean, well-appointed and "hygge." Breakfast was fresh and great. Services was very helpful. And just across the street from Lego House!

13/02/2026: I have just stayed at Refborg Hotel in Billund for two days – and it has been a really good experience. The hotel is not large, but that is part of the charm. It feels intimate and personal. You can clearly feel that it is family-owned, and that makes a difference to the atmosphere. The staff is welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in your well-being. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable – it is quiet and you sleep well. And the food… it deserves a special mention. It is simply top notch. Well-prepared, tasty and made with care. It is clear that something extra is made of it. If I need a hotel in Billund again, I have no doubt about where I will stay. A warm recommendation from here.

27/02/2026: We visited the Teddy Bear Art Museum this afternoon. The welcome was very friendly. We received a lot of information at the ticket counter. The exhibition is also available in several languages. The bears are presented with great care and attention to detail. We would love to come back.

05/02/2026: A cozy and pleasant place. An impressive collection, though a bit boring for the little ones at times, but they still left happy.

03/04/2026: We've visited the Aquadome. The place offered a good experience for kids and the staff very welcoming and professional, although in my opinion some things could be better managed. You need to bring money or charge an additional, special wristband with money, if you plan to buy food. The queue for the Food Court gets insanely long, while the order of food itself is really fast. The queue for some Swim Rings, needed for sliders is also pretty huge, especially for the green ones. One day parking is about 10 €

25/01/2026: I have just been a participant in a big birthday party at Filskov Kro, where we also stayed overnight at the inn. Wow, what an experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was just super good and cozy. Super delicious food and wines. Super friendly and professional waiters and employees. Beautiful and large clean rooms, and a pleasure that you can make coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was, like everything else, just delicious. I would definitely recommend Filskov Kro, and it is definitely not the last time we plan a party there. Thank you so much for a fantastic, super good experience. Greetings Jan

30/03/2026: Good food and service👌 I have to admit that we have stayed away from there for the last few years because the level had dropped. But then we were recommended it again and wanted to give it a shot. And we didn't regret it, it was a good atmosphere I was met with when I picked up the food, as we remembered it from before. And the food was top notch, great that you now have a good pizzaria again in Sdr omme.

18/03/2026: I recommend this pizzeria because I have tried their kebab durum roll with chicken it tastes fantastic and their pizza also tastes really good salad pizza with garlic and chili jalapeno dressing 100% 🫠😊😋😋

06/10/2025: Four of us, including our child, stopped here for dinner on our way home to our vacation home. The staff were super friendly and even accommodated our special requests (vegetarian dürüm). The food was absolutely delicious and fresh.

11/10/2025: I had a pork roast burger, which I must say is one of the best I've had. Juicy and tender meat with crispy skin. Perfect size and not overly saucy. Definitely one I'll have again.

02/10/2025: Amazing spot, the food was so good & very worth it for the price. Was a bit worried as the menu is only in Danish, but the staff member there was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Definitely swing by if you happen to be in town visiting Lego House

03/04/2026: We only went for dinner, but we were able to see the common areas of the hotel. Spectacular for children and Lego fans. The dinner was very good but like everything in Denmark a bit expensive.

02/04/2026: Great location for the Lego House, view from our room was amazing overlooking Legoland. Sofa beds are not comfortable, food in the restaurants expensive and not good quality. Limited seating in restaurants so hard to get a table. Overall a great place to stay due to the theme but could be improved with more interactive and engaging things in the hotel, better food and more comfortable beds in the family rooms.

11/12/2025: We eat in this restaurant in August, before visiting Lego House. The food was ok-ish, nothing outstanding. The waiter told us in advance that we will pay a fee of 6% if we have an European card. In a turistic city this means that the price is bigger for the turists, not a nice thing to do.

02/12/2025: What a great restaurant! We dropped in for dinner after a trip to Lego House and were quite impressed with our meals. My wife and I had burgers and we both loved our meal! The burgers were big and very tasty and the fries were amazing! It's a nice quite atmosphere so perfect for a nice conversation.

29/08/2025: We had three pizzas and one portion of fries. The food was delicious and the price was very fair. People came by every few minutes to pick up food, so it can't be bad.

16/07/2025: No water for people dining in, so we had to buy soda. The fries were okay, the pizza large but unremarkable, the cheeseburger mediocre. Service was nice, prices on the low side.

08/03/2026: ​I stayed at The Lodge for 10 days and had a very mixed experience. While the hospitality is excellent, several aspects of the stay were frustrating for a long-term guest. ​ The rooms are spacious and offer a great workspace for a laptop, which I really appreciated. ​ A huge shout-out to one staff member from the receptionteam. He was a "superhero"—extremely helpful with restaurant tips and consistently following up on my stay. The "4 Restaurants" Misconception: These are not hotel restaurants but external partners. One claimed to only accept cash for delivery, and it wasn't until I questioned this at reception after 5 days that I learned they do accept cards through their hotel partnership. This should be communicated clearly. I highly recommend Billund Pizza & Steakhouse nearby—the food was fantastic! ​The on-site deli is overpriced (e.g., 20 DKK for a Snickers), which feels opportunistic given the lack of nearby shops. ​Bedding & Comfort: Despite having a double bed, I was only provided with a single, small duvet. For a hotel of this standard, this felt very cheap. As a long-stay guest, I was disappointed to be charged 75 DKK for a bathrobe, and slippers were not included. I even had to go to the reception to ask for a conditioner refill mid-shower. ​Privacy & Safety: On three separate occasions, men opened the door to the women’s sauna. Since you are expected to be undressed there, this was incredibly uncomfortable and felt like a major breach of privacy. ​Maintenance & Housekeeping: You have to manually request cleaning, fresh towels, and toilet paper at reception. ​Gym & Facilities: The gym is only for "maintenance"—no barbells, just random dumbbells and a few kettlebells (max 28kg). The sparkling water tap was out of CO2 for all 10 days. Also, the two electric scooters in the lobby were both broken during my entire stay. ​Breakfast: The quality is good (great chia pudding!), but they stop refilling items an hour before closing - if not earlier. On a Saturday, they didn't even brew new coffee when it ran out. Also, as a non-pork eater, the options were very limited (turkey/herring). ​A Word of Warning ​I saw several silverfish crawling on the carpets in my room. I strongly recommend other guests not to leave their suitcases open on the floor. ​ The reception staff is 5-star, but the management of the facilities, cleanliness, and guest privacy needs a serious upgrade.

20/08/2025: We enjoyed the buffet there last night. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. In comparison, the Italian restaurants in Billund (I've tried both!) are hardly recommendable. One had poor service and small portions, another had cold pizza. This one was perfect for a dinner buffet with a large crowd. The prices are high, but overall, they're not more expensive than the other restaurants. Reservations recommended :)

11/08/2025: Vi var 7 vuxna och 3 små barn och det fanns något som passade alla, till och med den mest kräsna. Verkligen bra anpassat för barnen!

15/10/2025: A great experience, especially for children. The food was delicious and served quickly. You have to keep in mind that you're not just paying for the food, but also for the experience itself. And in my opinion, it's worth it.
