25/08/2025: I recommend this hotel. It's a good price and you can get a good night's sleep. The downside is that the breakfast is the same every day. It lacks variety.

24/08/2025: Reception personnel exceptionally helpful (greets to Judy), she fixed a mistake I made with the booking and was always honestly friendly. Breakfast offers a variety of choices.

10/08/2025: The food was good enough for us to visit two days in a row. Staff were friendly and efficient. One minus is the absence of tap water, a notion inconceivable in 21st century Europe where millions are spent annually to maintain safe drinking water.

05/08/2025: Way over priced. No central air. Tiny rooms. Bathrooms essentially a closet with a hose and wall paper. Decent breakfast and proximity to attractions creates demand for this price I suppose.

02/08/2025: What can you expect from a buffet at a park? Indeed, not very much. And that's exactly what it is. Not bad, but certainly nothing special either. There is a section, albeit extremely limited, for Mexican food. And then there's an Italian section. All in all, something for everyone. Expect little, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. The risotto and the really fresh fruit were delicious. Unlimited drinks are included in the price.

23/07/2025: Buffet with pizza, pasta, Mexican, salad, meat, cheese, fruit, dessert, drinks of most kinds. Surprisingly good quality of the food and drinks for a buffet! Worth every penny in that respect, even though it was expensive from a Norwegian perspective (bad exchange rate), 1600 NOK for 2 adults, 2 children. Especially liked the brisket, roasted beef, porchetta, salads, pieces of chicken, panna cotta. Beer (from the tap) of good quality and well-known brands. Wine from bottles, many varieties. Pull too empty of water in the carafes at several times, had to report to have new ones put out. The price is not easily visible outside.

21/06/2025: A small and cozy restaurant in middle of Grindsted with lovely hosts. Food is all fresh, made at home with love. We came here for LEGOLAND and strikingly this was best find. All value for money and best taste .

30/03/2025: Sadly cafe closed at 16:45 even though that lady at reception told us that they are closing at 17:00. Interior looked nice and we just wanted drinks to go.

29/07/2025: I went there with my friends and we got pita and pizzas. The pizzas were really good and the pita bread was a little too big, but nothing happened and we were full. I recommend that you come and eat here.

06/08/2025: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The overall experience was disappointing, starting with the food, which was very underwhelming. The carbonara we ordered bore no resemblance to the traditional Italian dish – instead of a creamy, flavorful sauce, it was swimming in grease, with an unpleasant texture and little to no seasoning. It felt more like a poorly made pasta with bacon and oil than an actual carbonara. The pizza was equally disappointing. It was overly greasy, with an excessive amount of cheese that completely overpowered any other ingredients. The crust lacked flavor and crispness, making the whole dish feel heavy and unappetizing. Rather than enjoying a well-balanced pizza, we were left with something that felt more like a greasy, overloaded fast-food version. The atmosphere inside the restaurant didn't help either. There was an odd smell lingering in the air, something between dampness and stale cooking oil, which made us wonder about the level of cleanliness. It didn’t feel like the place had been thoroughly cleaned in a while, and that certainly affected our comfort during the meal. All in all, it was not a pleasant dining experience. With so many other options available, I would strongly suggest looking for a different place to eat – ideally one that offers better food quality, a more pleasant environment, and attention to hygiene.
