06/02/2024: we were very surprised that the main entrance was closed at night, and that you therefore had to go all the way around the building to get in and buy a chailatte and two French ones. The two French were like everywhere else. But!! the chai latte, however, was a completely different story. They promised it should have a "hint" of cardamom, (hint) there was no cardamom to taste here. One star for hot dogs. 0 stars for cardamom hint. Good day. SINCERELY

24/09/2023: Pricey for what you get. Other options close by may be similar but cheaper. Edit: Selected a cake from what we saw through the glass, got something from the back of the window that was burned. Their Valnøddebrød is perfect though.

29/03/2024: Have eaten quite a few times at Sunset with satisfaction. On the most recent visit, however, I got a club sandwich with ice cold chicken. They had obviously forgotten to heat the meat. When I asked if it shouldn't have been hot, I was met with a shrug and a bland reply: "not necessarily…."

16/09/2023: Unfortunately a disappointing experience. We were given a menu card and a piece of paper if we wanted to fill in for "all you can eat". Since I then have to pay, it will be far more expensive than what the menu card/booklet had in terms of prices. The one I had to pay at mentions that they have had price increases, so the prices in the menu card/booklet were no longer correct. Eg. Has A glass of wine increased from DKK 50 to DKK 70. I think DKK 70 for a glass of wine is very reasonable and I would gladly pay that, but it is not ok that other prices are stated in the menu card. + everything had risen. Sticks also cost DKK 19 more than what the price was on the menu card. All the rolls were also more expensive than indicated in the menu card. I couldn't get the money back and the waiter said that people don't usually notice it, so she didn't inform us of the price increases before we ordered. I would have been perfectly fine with them going through the booklets and crossing out the price with a pen and writing the correct one, so I knew what it actually cost. Sad experience.

21/03/2024: Is always really good pizza at Mona Lisa... The only minus is you can't eat there because it's SO cold there...

19/03/2024: Stopped by and picked up two fantastic pizzas as takeaway 🤤 We chose to drive home to Svendborg and eat, because in their premises it was simply too cold, as in very cold, on a bitterly cold March evening. Nothing to complain about regarding the service itself, fast and we got exactly what we ordered. The pizza I ordered was a No. 1 plus pineapple 😋 yum I'm just saying. Would love to come again and buy pizzas.

02/03/2024: Klassisk frokostkort med et fint udvalg, hvor man altid kan finde noget, som man har lyst til. Pariserbøffen var virkelig god, og der var nachos til knægten i et overvældende omfang. Datteren glemte sin tandbøjle, men restauranten sendte den efterfølgende til Kbh. Der var rigtig god service over hele linjen - med stor venlighed og et smil på læben.

02/03/2024: Ordered Tapas out of the house for 11 people and it was nice and tasted good. Just a little enough - good thing I had bought something on the side. Criticism is not about quality, but delivering a board for 11 people 😵‍💫 How in heaven's name are 11 people supposed to be able to reach the same board??? It's not something that can be sent around. The board is heavy and Tapas is cozy food where everyone should be able to reach. No one in my circle has such long arms.

28/03/2024: 20240327 Fine is Fyn After a somewhat stressful trip to Zealand, we crossed the Great Belt again, heading for Jutland. Diesel is needed, because the whole thing rolls, but we humans also have an energy need that needs to be met. Monach at Knuds Hoved sounded like a good bet for a good break. I expect that when the price level is up to that of the restaurants, the food is of course adjusted accordingly. But no. Ham schnitzel with fries, peas and béarnaise sauce at a price of DKK 185 is then worth a visit. I didn't see much of the bearnaise, just a small bowl of melted butter. Some cut potatoes that actually tasted fine, peas that were missing the last half minute and a schnitzel that tasted like deep-fried food. It's simply not right. There is no way I can recommend this eatery to anyone, not even my worst enemy. If this is representative of the entire chain, I can only recommend keeping an appropriate distance from it. Next time I get to those edges, I'd rather try to upgrade my thoughts on pit stops. It could, for example, be Scandic Hotel Odense, which is located just off exit 52 on the E20. They have a restaurant that can only be better. I intend to make a pit stop there on the next trip over Funen. Review will follow.
