09/01/2025: We (me and my friend) came across this grill on our vacancy. We ordered the Gourmet Burger Menu. The burger and the fries where very tasty. The staff was super friendly (we don't speak danish but we could communicate in english), the food was prepared very quick.If we come back to this region, we will stop at this place again.

26/01/2025: Have eaten at the place before with satisfaction. There won't be a next time. It does not seem as if the young people are dressed properly for the service task. So there must be some adults who can teach them something about customer service. This actually applied all the way around, from the waiter/host to the meat cutter. The red meat seemed almost raw and did not taste good. The other cuts of meat were edible, but certainly not an experience. The best was the soft ice cream. That pretty much says it all. The Grill in Svendborg cannot be recommended - not even if you don't set high standards.

19/01/2025: I have never experienced worse service than this. The waiters were rude and claimed we left the bill. The food was bad as soon after I got food poisoning. I wish I could give the place zero stars because they didn't deserve a single one.

17/11/2024: Best place ever and really good food

26/09/2024: Bought a large spring roll to take home as I remembered it for good taste and a good size. Great was my disappointment when I got home and unpacked it. It was about 1/2 the size of what it was before. The white cabbage consisted only of the coarse thick pieces. There were 2 pieces of light meat, 1 piece of darker meat and 4 small pieces of minced beef. The carrots used to be cracked, but now they consisted of carrot cores from the frost. Add. We had planned to have a big party at the restaurant, but that has now been shelved. Because if this is what they serve, what does the rest look like? So this was the last time I shopped there.

09/12/2024: God mad og hyggelig atmosfære. Vi bestilt med QR kode - og maden kom forholdsvis hurtigt derefter. Veltillavet nachos, sandwich og fiskefillet. Alle i selskabet var glade

26/10/2024: After a long day of cycling my husband and I were very hungry and asked our hotel concierge where would be a good, casual place for dinner. She suggested some other place but we stumbled on this pub on the way and decided to eat here because it looked good. Nice outdoor seating separated by clear plastic walls and with heaters and a very cute interior. It was cold outside so we sat inside in a window and had a terrific dinner. Our young server was very personable and welcoming and helped us decide what to have. After some delicious bruschetta my husband had Martha’s casserole and I had one of the best burgers I have ever had. We were chatting with our server about the restaurant and she suggested that we go upstairs and see the fabulous nautical room where the sea captains like to eat when they come into the restaurant. It’s full of nautical memorabilia and has porthole windows that have moving water levels so you really feel like you are out at sea. Such fun! It was one of our best meals in Denmark and we definitely recommend it for a fun, casual dinner.
