It can take a while before you get your food, and the service is not that personal. But generally the food you get is delicious.

They have really good food and it didn't taste like all the other places where you buy sushi.

The food was generally good, and the sushi seemed fresh. There were some slightly different sushi combinations that weren't quite to my taste, but overall the food was a nice experience. The atmosphere didn't feel very authentic, but more modern and very "Danish", with lots of plastic plants in the decor. At first glance, the toilets looked very fancy, but the design turned out to be quite impractical. There were two separate toilets, each with its own sink, so close to the toilet that it could be used as a bib while using the toilet. The toilets were unnecessarily divided into men's and women's, which can create a queue for the women. Paper to dry your hands was placed outside the toilet itself, which resulted in wet door handles. The cleaning could also be better in general. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We were placed at the only table with different chairs than the rest of the restaurant, hard wooden chairs that seemed like they should only be used when everything else was busy. However, the restaurant was almost empty at that time. There was also no order management. We did not get everything we ordered several times, and some dishes ended up at other tables, even though the system clearly shows the table number on the order. Instead of utilizing the space in the restaurant, all the guests were placed together in one corner. This meant that our planned romantic lunch was interrupted by a group of teenagers at the next table, who seemed more interested in playing with the food than enjoying it. The tables were also not cleared properly. The table next to us was left untouched during our entire visit. You could see previous guests' orders on the touch screen at the table, so you had to scroll far down to confirm your own order, which seemed messy and unprofessional. The conclusion is that we will probably not eat at Atami again.
