Wow! One of the best restaurant experiences.. After some research we decided to come here and were welcomed with such friendliness that we felt right at home. Since there was no written food menu, the cook (owner?) Hilde came to our table and explained what she could prepare and let us choose. The food was so fresh and delicious, prepared and served with love.. A very well balanced menu that left us more than happy. We also had some great non-alcoholic cocktails and super yummy desert. A gem on the island!

I loooove to sit here and watch the ferry and the boats and drinking great cocktails or coffee. Very welcoming crew and cute, partly handmade souvenirs. 10/10 drinks and place! <3

The nicest, tastiest, cosiest place in Aerø. Exceptionally delicious food and they serve a very good cappuccino with oat milk. The chef makes the tastiest dishes with fresh vegetables. We also had delicious bread with vegan spreads. Everything is right in this restaurant. Thanks for the delicious lunch people of Ballast.

What a surprise! The food was fresh, creative, and deliciously prepared. The hosts were very friendly, and the cocktails were perfectly mixed. And if you're looking for some nice souvenirs, this is the place to be. Absolutely recommended!

Very friendly service 😁 Right next to the ferry. Modern and hygge at the same time. Long Island Ice Tea, Negroni, Gin and Tonic, and Aero IPA to enjoy... Tak!
