Hotel Bella Italia, Sønderborg - 2 days ago, room and service perfectly OK. The Italian dinner included in the deal was a disappointment. The appetizer (Tapas) is a Spanish appetizer. Chorizo ​​sausage has never been Italian and the main course: veal fillet in brown sauce, has never been part of Italian cuisine. The very thick sauce was baked and captured all the flavor from the veal, which was tender enough but could not taste through and was added in such large quantities that everything tasted of sauce. Most reminiscent of Danish brown sauce, as our mother thought she made it. The apple crumple dessert was a very small blob. It tasted OK, but could well have deserved a corresponding dollop of whipped cream or creme fraiche. Not exactly part of an Italian dinner either. All in all, the room and service were fine, but the dinner did not live up to the description: Italian and therefore a big disappointment.

A beautiful Hotel with lots of personality. 🇮🇹 Our stay was a Sweetdeal I can highly recommend it. Here you really get something for your money. Super nice and welcoming staff. The rooms are nice and clean. The restaurant is cozy with a nice atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast are for 5 stars. We'll be back😃

Super nice hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff, perfect location. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and all three dishes were so delicious. We look forward to returning. (A little room wish: A wall holder for the loose shower head for those of us who hate rainshowers😉)

Vi er lige kommet hjem efter en skøn oplevelse på Bella Italia. Vi havde booket ophold med mad og der var kaffe og kage da vi ankom. Om aftenen fik en virkelig lækker 3-retters menu hvor alt var virkelig lækkert. Sødt personale og god service. Søndag kom vi ned til virkelig lækker morgenmad og især brødet og kaffen var helt fantastisk. Værelset var fint og havde en god størrelse (nr. 207). Personalet var alle super søde og meget hjælpsomme. Der er parkering ved hotellet så ingen problemer der. Sønderborg er en rigtig dejlig by og udvidet med et ophold på Bella Italia er alt perfekt.

Very nice little hotel in the city center. The rooms are modern, furnished with great attention to detail. What particularly struck me was that it smelled good everywhere. The breakfast was very good, with fresh ingredients and completely sufficient for my taste. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. If you book a hotel in the center, you have to expect a bit of liveliness, it didn't bother me. Overall, it was a pleasure for me to be a guest at this hotel. I will recommend it without reservation and will definitely visit again.
