Foodies, listen up! We were traveling in Denmark again and looking for a good restaurant. My father-in-law said, "I saw something in Blokhus—a fish buffet." My immediate thought was: Fish + buffet = I'm in! So, on a Friday evening, we went there for the dinner buffet. We received a very warm welcome at the door—as it turned out, from the owner himself. He asked if we wanted to eat from the buffet, and when we agreed, he showed us around the restaurant and explained everything to us at length. The buffet consisted of a cold section, hot dishes, and a selection of desserts. Afterward, he showed us to a cozy table—even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was getting quite full. What was especially nice was that most of the guests were locals, which is always a good sign. Apparently, it's a real hidden gem! The buffets were all very extensive and left nothing to be desired. Everything was fresh, attractively presented, and constantly replenished. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and well-organized. The entire restaurant was very clean and well-maintained – as were the staff and the restrooms. It was particularly impressive that the buffet still looked as if it had just been set up, even though there had been many guests before and after us. And best of all: all this at a very fair price. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic evening right from the start with a nice reception by the waiter, introduction to the large buffet, and the two waiters were fantastically service-minded. The food was incredibly delicious, varied and beautifully presented.

We visited the restaurant together. We were welcomed so warmly upon arrival. We were shown the entire buffet and it looked so delicious. The whole evening was absolutely wonderful. Charming staff, super delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere. Thank you so much for the lovely evening.

The food is of very good quality. The price-performance ratio is perfect. Good fish isn't cheap, after all. The service is super friendly, courteous, and helpful. It's also well-suited for wheelchair users. You sit comfortably in quiet, small areas, so you have privacy.

We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were super friendly and helpful – especially our waiter Hubert, who was very accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic, truly one of the best fish restaurants in Denmark! The local artwork on the walls gives the place a cozy and authentic atmosphere. Definitely recommended! 🐟✨

Visited for lunch. The waiter presented the buffet he was very attentive and quick to remove dirty dishes. Everything we had was fresh and tasted amazing. The buffet was very tidy. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Lovely evening with good, freshly prepared fish and seafood + other good meat, if you're not that into fish. We were warmly welcomed by a young waiter who showed us the buffet (which was located in several places) and explained the contents. Excellent intro and then we were let loose in the good things. I don't usually eat much herring, but couldn't resist the inviting varieties that were really well made. The dessert table was delicious with small cream puffs, chocolate fountain and good cakes (the kids loved the apple cake). A really nice evening, when we had decided to treat ourselves a little extra.
