You can eat very high-quality fish and chips here with homemade side dishes. For seating, you can choose between indoors upstairs in bad weather or outside in good weather, where you have a great view of the harbor. We were there during the off-season and there were never any long waits, but a steady flow of customers. Prices are on the higher side, but reasonable for what you get. You can also buy fresh fish and some local products in the adjoining shop.

Delicious food to eat in and fresh fish to take away. The fish cakes with homemade remoulade are highly recommended. The seaside setting is very appealing.

We bridged the waiting time until a fishing boat was pulled in with a meal. There was plenty of fish.

Lovely little local eatery, fresh ingredients in the most wonderful setting, the west coast of North Jutland. As authentic as it gets.

The ambiance was rather simple, but the fish and chips were fantastic – better than in London – and the staff very friendly. There was also a great fish shop on site, so we stocked up for dinner.

A charming fishery. The food was absolutely delicious. The fish in all its variations is highly recommended. The fries are fresh and homemade. The remoulade sauce seems to be homemade as well. Eat outside with a direct sea view and a view of the fishing boats. Highly recommended. However, it's quite expensive compared to Germany, as it's essentially "just" fast food and not an à la carte dining experience like in a fish restaurant.

We were here in September 2026 to see the fishing boats on the beach. Afterwards, we wanted to grab a bite to eat and stopped at Fiskehus. We received very friendly service, and the fish was delicious. Because of the weather, we ate inside, which, with its cozy atmosphere (and view of the North Sea), perfectly suited our needs. We highly recommend Fiskehus 👍🏻
